If this was only a PL game I would say the girl didn't die but was only hidden or something like that. However, considering this is also an Ace Attorney game written by Takumi she might be dead for real.
I hope there are more scenes where we can't guess the outcome just because we know how one of the two series usually handles it.

Yikes. There is no way I'm gonna let my little sis watch that when we play it. I really hope that girl survived...

Phoenix's new voice seemed pretty good, but I highly prefer Riegel. Layton's voice... could have worked for Edgey, but it still sounds good.

I know people will be adverse to change, but I didn't really like Riegel as Phoenix. This VA is actually much closer to my personal headcanon, and the direction seems pretty solid, especially compared to Dual Destinies. I'm all for it.

Though I admit that when I heard this new voice actor in the demo I thought it was awful. The "Objection!" was so boring and with no enthusiasm. It sounded much better this time around, they must have updated the clips.

I think the thought of Smith being Phoenix is plausible, he has a wide range of voices and I thought he sounded somewhat like Sonic.

Or I could be wrong, just a theory. :ron:

All of the clips looked pretty good. Phoenix's voice clips were much better and I think this new voice actor might not be so bad. I think the demo didn't have the right sound clips or something. I did really want to hear Maya's voice a little more, but I guess we'll have to wait for that.

（ ˚∀˚）。彡˚ （ ˚∀˚）。彡˚ Bar-nham! Bar-nham! The voices are done beautifully - some villagers still crack me up - but I can't help but feel unimpressed with Phoenix and Maya's voices. I was hoping for something a bit better than the Japanese version, but I suppose I set my standards a bit too high after all. Still, that WELCOME! was all I really needed. My avatar will finally make some sense to people now, I expect. I think we'll need to update the English names for PLvsAA now. I am liking some of these names.

Spoiler: Danganronpa Spoilers Gives me memories of "The Burning of the Versailles Witch"-although not as disturbingly staged the "I'm not a witch!" fear/innocence of this girl sure is something. Nightmare fuel entry. Dat empathy, my reaction is Phoenix and Maya's. Wonder what's to come with some of the other witch trials. Heh.

I'm assuming you haven't played any of the Layton games (or at least not in English) since let me just say that Hershel Layton without Christopher Robin Miller's voice is not Hershel Layton. I don't quite see his voice fitting Edgeworth, but then again I guess I'm biased since the second I hear that voice I automatically think of Layton. Phoenix's new voice actor is a little bit closer to the voice I have in my head when I read his dialogue. Though I admit that when I heard this new voice actor in the demo I thought it was awful. Layton is still Layton, Euro Luke is still Euro Luke, so it all seems good for the Layton crew Phoenix Wright? He seems alright for now, but then, again, I'm still debating. Even if it's just a sigh I heard, Zacharias Barnham's voice does sound promising The Labyrinthia judge's voice was only heard for a couple of seconds, but it sounded MUCH STRONGER than Dave B. Mitchell's judge voice

Anyway, now that we finally have some footage of this game where you can hear Phoenix talking without someone else blabbing over it, I can finally get to analyzing who it might be. And while I don't have a clear idea yet, I'm pretty certain that I have heard him before; it'll just be a matter of figuring out where exactly.

So Phoenix Wright's English VA for PLvsPWAA on the Ace Attorney wiki has been set to "Roger Craig Smith." According to editor, ChrAplab, he said, "I listened to his voice a few times, and it definitely sounds like Roger Craig Smith." If this is RCS, then I believe the VA just downgraded his Sonic voice to make his Phoenix Wright voice. Again, this is just the editor's hypothesis, and we still need concrete proof.
