The Cosmosky Orchestra, a Japanese orchestra dedicated to live performances of videogame music, has announced that as part of their sixth regular concert, they will be performing music from Dual Destinies!

The concert takes place December 7th at Kanagawa Kenmin Hall (note that since DD was just announced, it's not listed on the page yet). Examples of their work can be seen on their YouTube channel. Here's hoping they provide a recording of the show for those of us who can't make it!
Hi! I've largely stepped back from C-R due to life stuff. Please contact one of the other staff members for help!

I REALLY hope they make the recordings an album. I love the orchestrated versions of the AA music, and I'm so happy Dual Destinies is getting arrangements!

They better play Captain Segway's theme. Only then would they do their name right.

...I wish. It might be a court medley instead, but that would be just as wonderful. Sad to say, I'm not planning to stop by Japan any time soon, so I hope someone will record this.

Fyi, they currently have Seiken Densetsu 2 & 3, Pokemon Red -> Silver, and Bravely Default Flying Fairy listed as well.

If they're doing one song, it's probably gonna be the Pursuit theme or Phoenix's Objection theme. I'd like a proper album for the game at some point (as well as AAI1...but that's probably unlikely) but I always like the various arrangements for these songs so I'm excited regardless (assuming I'll be able to hear it)

This is great news.
Not only I was excited to hear the orchestration of DD music, but I will also be abroad to Japan until mid-December.
Where I stay will be in Kanagawa... so I might actually be able to listen to them perform live.

Thanks for the news update!! :will:
Check out my SoundCloud for Ace Attorney Transcriptions. And even AA style remixes of Nintendo music. .... Yeah, so basically a lot of Ace Attorney stuff.

I wonder if they're going to play only a few songs from DD, or a larger amount? I'm hoping we get a nice orchestrated album out of this regardless.
