That's a good point. Having digital is convenient, but having to buy externals or what not for extra space can get real pricey. I really don't mind digital for some things myself, but I still have a preference for physical copies. There's just something about being able to hold that fresh new copy of a game in hand that brings a joy you could never get from a digital copy. The only advantage to digital at this point really are the random sales.
