This got a bit buried yesterday, between the new trailer and the English announcement, but now that we've all got a moment to breathe -

Yesterday the official AA6 Japanese site saw a big update, covering the information in this week's Famitsu.

Case three ("Turnabout Ritual") sees Maya arrested on suspicion of murder when a priest, Malmel Aatamu, is killed during the final rite of her training. The two were (of course!) alone at the time in the shrine. At the time of the murder, Maya was playing the role of the country's mythical bird princess, said to have protected the country in a time of conflict - three guesses as to what costume the killer was wearing, and the first two don't count. (Incidentally, this bird princess is so popular there's a show based off of her, "Torisaman" (a play on "Tori", bird, and "Tonosaman", the JP name for the Steel Samurai)).

Nayuta returns to Kurain to take the case, and Ema, traveling with him, offers to help Phoenix in his investigation with the old Luminol magic. As for the case itself, two new characters are revealed who have direct ties: Nanashiino Gonbe (Tentative), a man so amnesiac he's appended "Tentative" to his own name, and Saara Aatam, the victim's wife. Saara seems to be hiding something, leading to the re-introduction of the Psyche-Lock system.

Finally, two more major characters are revealed: the leader of the revolutionary forces known only as Durk, and Rayfa's father, Inga Karakhul Kurha'in. Inga is not only the husband of the queen but also the Minister of Justice in the country, making his struggle against the revolutionaries that much more personal.

And last but not least, Revisualization makes its return. Unlike AA5 where the process was shown as moving from left to right, here it's visualized as diving "into" the screen.

Less than a month until the Japanese release!

Normally, priests don't get married, so maybe they'll change that in localization.

Nice to see Thought Route return. However, I hope they make it more innovative or difficult. It was basically spoonfeeds.
Same with magatama. Lack of penalties didn't add to Dual Destinies.

Uhm, that totally depends on the religion. E.g. protestant priests or rabbis can get married, no problem whatsoever.

Considering Khura'in is a made up country chances are they follow a fictional religion, soanything's possible.

Also I love Gonbe's animations XD I really hope he's not the killer! (He ends all his sentences in である as well, isn't that something you do in an essay? Like written language?)

Spoiler: Also, Theory!
Druk and King Inga are the same person

Rayfa's father is like the Damon Gant of Khura'in

Gonbe is by far the best new character introduced in this case. No one says である anymore, and it's such a formal term that it's only seen in written format. It also has a certain air of nobility to it, if it applies to him. I think it's a way to show how he's totally not with the times, since he's so forgetful. (But I can't help but wonder if it's all a facade...)

And if you count double-breasted jackets and consider RftA as the first game's finale, four out of the five final bosses of the main series fit the bill

I hadn't realized there were so many culprits with double-breasted clothes, but now that I'm thinking about it is quite ridiculous. And the weirdest part is that they almost never repeat colors. We could even play a game of clue with them: There's Mr. Orange, Mr. Red, Mr. Purple, Ms. Green, the other Mr. Purple and Mr. White. Maybe Mr. Brown will be joining them soon.

Wait a moment, Lana Skye also wears a double-breasted suit. I guess there's still hope for this guy. Maybe he's just an accomplice.

Well, to be more specific, Kristoph's suit colour is lavender, whilst Yew's is teal.
Also, let's not overlook the fact that owners of double-breasted jackets aren't limited to culprits. Turner Grey, for instance, wore a brown suit, and he ended up a victim in 2-2. Damian Tenma wears a tealish green suit, and he's the defendant of 5-2.

...why are we discussing this again?

I'm a Maya x Nick shipper but I'm not really happy with this tradition. Enough of Maya getting charged with those murder accusations already. She deserves better and we do too. :sad-maya:
I just hope the writing and the twists will be good enough so that people won't be harsh with it, like a pretty good story coming together only if Maya is in the center of it or something along those lines.
Let's see if they will able to surpass cases like 2-4 or 3-5 with this new 6-3 case.

You guys saw the Water Mirror portion of this case? If you haven't, it's in the final trailer when it starts talking about the water mirror, it shows case 1's and new one that is presumably Case 3 since it matches the description.

I find it interesting and odd

What does it look like to you?

It looks like the statue just suddenly zoomed in toward the victim and he got hurt. The movement was very odd especially the way the victim is moving his hands.

This kind of view point throwing you off is what I expected from the Water Mirror and I like it.

My best guesses for what that vision actually is, is that
Spoiler:
The Victim is looking up and seeing the statue fall on him, or better yet, the victim himself is falling and landed on the statue

It's not a statue though, it's a person in a costume.

It could be to frame Maya, I mean, the movement of the figure is unnatural, like gliding across the floor. It looks intentional, not like an error
