You might remember that a little while back, commemorative CDs for Phoenix and Apollo were announced, to be released in January. At the time they listed two unknown bonus tracks, but today they have been revealed: "Phoenix Wright ~ Objection! 15th Celebration", a piano mix, and "A New Trial is in Session!" a vocal version of Apollo's theme.

Yes, you heard that right. (And here's Phoenix's mix for good measure.)

As a reminder, the CDs are up for grabs in our 2016 OC Contest, and here's the full tracklists:

You might want to update the newly revealed names in the tracklists themselves, Bolt. They still say TBD.

The quality of the lyrics is similar to those of the Steel Samurai theme, Love Love Guilty and the AA5 pursuit theme　(´・ω・｀)

I'm sorry but that vocal song is absolutely terrible. And I normally don't mind vocal versions of songs, but this was just... bad.

It might've sounded better if the Apollo song had Japanese lyrics instead of English. In English it sounds just so...weird.

I honestly don't listen to lyrics a lot, so that can't be it. It was just the voice. I can't really explain it properly, but it was just... not right. It just wasn't sung that well

I feel that the song was cheesy too,but in a good way. Very enjoyable and I don't really see the Japanese in it that well,which is good.

Give him a break, guys. This is almost on par with Sherlock Holmes' majestic playing with a poor viola.

Except with Apollo's rather feminine sounding voice. Headcanon'd.

To me it felt like a fan added their own pyrics in. The singer didn't sound too professional (which was a shame they couldn't get someone better). Reminds me of the MOTHER soundtrack songs.

God, I HATE vocal versions of VGM. It just sounds so wrong to me. I was really hoping for the SoJ trailer theme too.

When I read that it would be a vocal version of Apollo's theme, I imagined a song sung by KENN about being ~~daijoubu~~ fine. Not that that was what I expected, mind you. What I didn't expect, though, was a lady to be singing a song with English lyrics. The lyrics sound very shoehorned in, but that's unsurprising.

Ooooobjection! Hold it riiiiiiiight there!

That said, the 15th anniversary remix of Phoenix's theme sounds great and I can't help but feel like Apollo('s CD) got a bit of a raw deal here.

Wait...i am confused...that Apollo vocal song is official? i thought it was a fan thing as an example or something... Why is it in English and why does it have "Objection" and "Hold it", when it is aimed at Japanese? ...this is just so weird.... it should at least be a mix of Japanese and Engrish.

While it's my favorite of the two, there's no reason for Keep Pressing On to be in over Cornered IMO.
