Some weeks ago I announced that Court Records was going to be having a Pre-T&T Event to celebrate the release of the third game. IT'S STILL ON! Come October 22nd all CR's fans will have the chance to compete to win one of these fabulous bad boys:

Okay, no, they're not the semi-official Godot Mug listed on the Goods page. Those are no longer made. You cannot buy them. Your only chance of getting one of those mugs is second hand on an auction site (most likely a Japanese auction site). I am very sorry.

But you CAN have one of these! I'm not giving away details about the contest yet other than to say you do not need to create anything--the only thing you will need come Oct 22nd is your love of the games and your razor sharp wit! Everyone will be eligible, no matter your age or nationality. If you have a mailing address, you just might win one of these specially ordered CR Godot Mugs!

(Special thanks to everyone who has donated to the site so far, which has allowed us to afford them)

They may not be official, but they're certainly sweet nonetheless. Unfortunately I may not be here for it, as I'll be moving around the same time.


A little advice for next time, though: you may want to lower the image on the mug, or expand it so that the cut off section of Godot's body meets the bottom of the mug. That, or just cut the body section altogether and have a larger cut of Godot's dark, looming head. :godot:

I already have my own custom Godot travel mug, and I plan on painting another one. Still, these are pretty damn cool. I'd like to see what this contest is all about.

I blew it up as much as they would let me. Unfortunately, you only get a certain degree of control in placement without going through a more expensive service, and this was as much as I could go with the donation money we had on hand.

But I hope you'll like them all the same. :edgy:

Since the 22nd is a Monday, we might not start until the afternoon, so that the most number of people are able to participate (that would be in terms of US Eastern Standard time). But don't hold me to that! We haven't completely decided yet.

What does it mean by a "mailing address"? Like, when would we have to give out the address? Prior to the contest, or after we win or... I have no clue.

I hope this is trivia related, and I'm sure some people know WHY I hope that! :enguard:

If you win, you will have to give me your address, so I can ship the mug to you.

If you want to participate but have no interest in actually getting the prize, that's fine, but you'll have to specify that in advance so I know not to declare you a winner.
