As you can see, Wooster and I have been working out a new way to handle updates.

From now on, updates will appear not only on the front page of the site, but also the forum as well. "Replying" to the update will take you directly to a section of the forum where you can discuss recent additions, comment on breaking news, or bop me over the head if I made a mistake. Please forgive any hiccups that may occur in these first few days while we adjust to the new system.

Because of the change, the site index has been changed to "index.shtml" so if you have the site bookmarked as "index.html" I'm sorry but you'll have to change it. For a while a redirect will be in place, but afterwards pointing to "www.court-records.net" should be enough.

It'll take just a bit to work out the kinks, so please be patient. We hope you'll enjoy this new addition to Court Records!

EDIT: And speaking of updates, Nintendo Europe has confirmed that Apollo Justice will have a 2008 release date. Now if they'd just tell us WHEN in 2008, we'd be all set.

Makes sense, and it explains why the site was going crazy about 3 AM last night (The big text glitch was stuck for a while, and, for about two minutes, I believe I had access to admin-only features). Hope to see this place active, as long as it remains constructive.

I think I'm liking this.

I was up until 3 AM? My goodness I was determined to get this thing running...

... Also explains why I couldn't get up this morning and proceeded to be unconscious the rest of the afternoon.

=D But it was fun setting this up.

Pressing "Reply" on the main page doesn't work.

I think this is pretty good thing. I'm definately going to use this feature in the future too.

O_o How would you 'try this out'? You can't make new topics, unless you meant on your personal board, in which case by all means. =D

Also, for the record, you all still post news updates in the Court-Docket. The Trial Minutes are strictly for site updates that we want our casual viewers to read as well. If you do create a topic that is indeed news worthy, we reserve the right to either move your topic, or to reword it as a new topic at our discretion.

I don't suppose there's a chance of an RSS feed to make it even easier to check news?

This feature is kinda cool.

I'm actually actively looking into making an RSS feed work. However, I've had two solutions just before we went live, one which only worked if it felt like it, and the other updated for EVERY SINGLE POST in this board.

Don't know if you meant this for me, but because I can see no other post this could be a reply to, I'll answer it anyway.
I meant I'm using this feature also in the future for commenting news.

I apologize if you didn't mean this to me.

A 'Minute' is a formal record of some sort of meeting. The Court Clerk's job is to keep a record of all that proceeded in the trial. If you ever wonder where a phrase like "Let the Record show that Mr Wright lifted the block with his left hand" was directed at, now you know. =D

And yes it was directed at ya Nego.

Lookin' nice. I probably won't have any use for it, but just in case I do, it'll be there. Nice update!

Hey, my thread's on the front page. *does little attention whore dance*

Changed the text in the first post of that thread to make it clear on Court Records, too. Seems to work seamlessly. Fun stuff!

Are the old updates still here? I still want to be able to look at the results Capcom popularity contest.
