But think about it: Gyakuten Saiban is just a game series, the point of it is the player to interact with the game and the game console. What do you think? I would like to see a Phoenix Wright movie (They definetily won't make an Apollo Justice movie that fast, I think they will make some Apollo Justice manga and some more games... maybe just one more where everyone dies like in The Departed...now THAT would be great), but face it, THAT would be kind of a flop, don't you think? Just realize that there is a small amount of AA fans in the world, they conquered Japan, but USA, Europe and much less Latinamerica don't count with a HUGE amount of AA fans like to bring a movie. So, if we have a Gyakuten Saiban movie, it will be just Gyakuten Saiban, they won't bring it to other countries.

But that would be pointless. I think a PW anime should have its own timeline thing! It doesn't have to be AU -- but it would be so much more fun if they didn't base it on the games. The games are too similar to an actual anime already, anyway

Maybe they're trying to branch out of the text-adventure genre using those characters, but that also seems kind of unlikely. I just can't imagine some sort of action-based game working out well within the setting. It's very perplexing...
