Firstly, I don't think Hotel dusk would make a good film unless the actual game plot was reworked quite a bit. Second, it should not be made by a japanese director or hollywood, because as far as I'm concerned neither of them make very good movies.

I really don't think Hotel Dusk should be a japanese movie because they're totally not Japanese xD

Mila somewhat was an asian look but, I don't think it is meant to be unless her mother happened to be, which of course we don't know. She looks a bit different from her father, so it's quite possible.

I... don't really see it being indie either.

I'm totally brainfarting but the team who did No Country for Old Men should totally do the Hotel Dusk movie. The vibe from that flick was astounding and I think they would bring a good edge to HD.

The Coen Brothers? They would definitely give Hotel Dusk an intense twist.

If it was shot as a neo-noir it could be quite amazing. Now that I think about it, it wouldn't need any huge budget or complex cg since it basically takes place in one building. It would have to rely entirely on good acting and mood-just like the good old '40s film-noirs.

I'd love to see like a Trace Memory, Hotel Dusk, or a Phoenix Wright movie/anime.

One three-way crossover would be even awesomer! :D

I can't really think of anyone to play roles, but I can see Josh Holloway as Bradley. Don't ask why, I just do.
