As Croik has already posted on the front page, Nintendo has indeed issued a rerelease of Hotel Dusk (along with Clubhouse Games, another good DS title).

The rerelease has some slightly different boxart too. Hotel Dusk was retroactively added to the Touch Generations after the initial release but the rerelease makes it official as you can see below. It seems Nintendo thought it was necessary to make sure people know it's a mystery game.



Anyway, go out and grab this excellent game if you haven't yet, and tell your friends. Any success for the adventure game genre will benefit the Ace Attorney series too.

It's good that the game is being re-released, but is the large orange stripe at the top really necessary? It takes away from what was otherwise a very nice cover, and makes it seem as if reading the back of the box was too much of a hassle for those that didn't get it the first time around.

yeah, the orange part at the top is kinda ruin the feel of it.

Gee, I don't know. If only there was some hideous description across the cover of the game that explain in simplistic terms what it is...

If the new addition of that orange stripe helps sell more games and in turn gets more games in this genre made, then I'm all for it. Saying that, the stripe really does take away from the rest of the box. It just clashes with the black and white art.

sigh, i suppose i'll need to pick this up before the only version available is the orange-stripe one. new editions are already popping up on ebay D:
