I was talking about in a other forum.

When I've finished Hotel Dusk, I thinked about a Mini TV serie, "The Lost Room" released in 2006. they have Similarities...
'talk about Joe Miller (Played by Peter Krause) a detective police man .

(The actor look like Kyle. XD)

One day after hunting a drug-dealer in the streets, he finaly discover that guy has been shooted by a gun. The drug-dealer show him a key with a Red key ring and ask him to keep it. Then the drug dealer die. The key got the number "10", a sun and the Word "Motel" on it.

This Key come from an Abandoned Motel (1960) called "Sunshine" (Dusk... Sunshine...) on Road 66...
(The key has the power to take the owner at any place, he just need to open a door with it and think about the place he want to go.)

I don't tell the rest of the story because it don't have much similarities... But check Wiki for the whole story if you want.

So... What do you think ?
I think the most impressive similiarities are the actor look like Kyle and The Motel.

Truthfully The Lost Room is what expected Hotel Dusk to be like.
