It should take place in Alaska for two reasons.

1. Kyle in a puffy winter coat. He can have a scarf, too.
2. Bradley with a beard (If he can even grow one) looking like an eskimo, too.

As for a serious answer, I could see this taking place in desolate-ass part of California. Maybe even somewhere more in the Midwest. The only problem is Cing seems to be following the pattern of keeping the story all in one spot. It'd be cooler if Kyle had more travelling room, like between places rather than just one large facility. Could travel around a town Bradley might be hiding in. Midwest would be cooler because, well, I don't think you understand how much I want eskimo Kyle.

In seriousness, I'd love the 2nd installment to back-track to NY. I really feel if Kyle DOES find Bradley, he'll be in CA, but I think to put the whole Nile thing in place, they're gonna have to go back to New York.

I dunno, I just want it to take place somewhere else besides that hotel X_X And there must be Louis, it won't be right without him in it.

My HD2 thoughts are that it will not be called HD2. I think that it's title will be connect to another shady location. It could be another Hotel that's bigger, or a "haunted house"(kind of cookie cutter).

I highly doubt the haunted house gig, since that's basically what Trace Memory used. But yeah. My only guess is another hotel.

How about a whole resort, with multiple buildings and shit? Or Mexico! We'll hide from Nile and get some tequila! Call Louie, Iris, and Rachel!

It would have to be ftw, definitely. The DS was amazing but I want more.

I actually came up with the idea of a lighthouse a while ago...it could be called the Midnight Tower and be somewhere on the East Coast.
A new protaganist would be a must, but with the feature of playing as Kyle for the second playthrough.
Also a new art style, something that isnt EGZACKLY the same as Hotel Dusk. That wouldnt be cool.
...And no cameos.Minus kyle, but he would be a side character.

And theres my list of obnoxious "look at me" ideas. Nile would have to be brought into it somehow...and there should be a multiplayer FPS. It would be beastly.

Hmm if anything I think the sequel should really be a prequel. Have Louie and Kyle as playables and tell the story of their times in NY and end at when Kyle hangs up his badge. I myself would love to know more about the Nile and what Bradly was like, his personality up close.

Room 215 left a few holes about the past that need a bit clearing up and IMO a prequel is the way to go for something like this.
