I grew really tired of ladder v stepladder gags.
I think Payne definitely seemed smarter than usual in JFA and T&T :D

How about... an optional tutorial? As in, in the beginning of the game they can ask you if you want to refresh your mind about the court procedures. If you choose "NO", the "tutorial" lines in the first case are taken out, and the case can move a bit quicker. I don't know how that would affect the story (if it were like 2-1, it may, but if it's like 3-1, it may not... IMO), but it's an option.

That sounds a good idea actually. Once they get onto something like GS6 though maybe tutorial case should be stopped entirely. Who starts their first experience of a game with the 6th game in a hexology (is that a word?)

The panties thing was way overused.
Salazar: I'm sending my right hand after you.

My patience is wearing a bit thin for overly gimmicky prosecutors. Klav drove me NUTS with his rampant air guitaring.

I, for one, LOVE the ladder vs. stepladder thing. I hope it shows up in every game, nay, every case.

I semi-agree with "no more gimmicky prosecutors."
Godot's was fine. His coffee-sipping didn't take forever :rock'n: nor did it INTERRUPT EVERY FUCKING LINE. :ka-whip:
So, I say gimmicks are A-OK as long as there isn't more of them than there is dialogue.
Also, I don't want an exchange of dialogue to be repeated later in a case. (Gumshoe before and after some trials in 1-5 comes to mind. That got old fast.)
The only time I ever laughed at that gag was when Powers was explaining Engarde and Corrida's shows in 2-4, ending each summary with, "Every Sunday at 8."

quick bullet style list of my opinions:
-Optional tutorial in the first case. Make the first case longer.
-No Payne, period.
-Ladders are fine, gimmicky prosecutors are fine
-How about a defense aide that isn't a teenage girl? For more than one case I mean.
