Okay, rant done. Now on to the important stuff!
I agree that I don't want Phoenix to play such a major role. I mean, I kinda still want him there, but I don't want to ignore Apollo's story.
I don't want cases involving the Feys. I wouldn't mind seeing Maya or Pearl, but I'd rather have the focus for a huge case involve something else (even if it is Grammarye).
I also don't want to see Lotta or Samurai cases, either.
Also, a part of me hopes that Phoenix doesn't give Apollo his magatama. I'd rather Apollo use his own talents then borrow something from Phoenix.
Also, I hope that Apollo doesn't lose his badge...

I dislike the idea of a huge Fey-based case, otherwise it will basically turn into PW4 instead of GS5
Indeed,
I like Phoenix, but Apollo has potential, focus more on him,
However, I wouldn't mind another samurai case <I.e a media related filler case> As long as Powers isn't the Defendant/Witness/Suspect/DA/Judge/Prosecutor/anything etc.
As much as i like Lotta (as comic relief mostly), i think they can use Brushel to fill the void left by her.
Personally I wouldn't mind the Magatama back, as that gives you a penalty based logic puzzle type thing to do outside of court.
Apollo won't lose his badge.

however, i'd give the Jurist system 1 more game to see how good it really is.

I agree. Trucy seems a bit more competent than Maya, so I would hate to see them remove that for the sake of cheap drama.
I don't want the game to use a contrived way to add a sense of peril to a case other than the peril which the defendant is in. Like trapping Maya at the Inner Temple in 3-5. 1-4 certainly had enough drama when it was only Edgeworth in danger, they really don't need to add anything further.

...although I realize it's not like Nick didn't have his share of help with Magical Mia and all, but (most of the time) he wasn't getting any breaks from the prosecution. I think we kinda need a meaner prosecutor.

He needs to leave Apollo alone and the series could really pick up. I did like GS4 but there was too much phoenix. He needs to die or go away for Apollo to truly find out about himself and the series (could possibly) be even better than Phoenix's arc. He has more potential than phoenix ever did. Sorry to sound like I hate phoenix, I just want to know more about Apollo. Phoenix has had his turn and now its time to move on

Don't want no jury system either. I HATE it when a game series gets big and established and then all of the sudden changes its entire system. And this jury system sounds like a worse idea than giving Mario melee attacks and a health bar. Or putting guns and vehicles in a Sonic game. The AA series is a world of its own, why does it need to reflect changes in Japan's real-life court system?

One of the things that made me livid in GS4 was the disappearance of Edgeworth, Maya, Pearl, and everybody else in Phoenix's life. I want them all back. I LIKE weaving the two stories together, and given that I like the original three GS games better than the fourth--so sue me, I liked playing as Phoenix in the first game. I would like to see Apollo's character developed as well, but I want Phoenix and Edgeworth and everybody else to stay as well. They can be peripheral, but with good writing a character can be given a great deal of PRESENCE with a small appearance. And I want Phoenix to be an attorney again.
What I don't want to see: Phoenix abandoned by all the people he loved and loved him at the end of GS3 again; that was just so much bullshit and violation of canon.

There are new players who may wanna know though.
I don't wanna see just 4 cases. I don't want to see Phoenix becoming a lawyer again as that would take importance away from Apollo. But I feel that they will do it anyway. {Just to get the Phoenix Wright fans who hated playing as someone new back into the games.}

1) if capcom just intend on pinning more things to krissi and torturing him further, then don't bring him up at all.
2) no more phoenix. he served as a transition from 3-4, that's fine, but now it should be polly's era. let polly and klavier and such take over. (by the way the story's going, without klavi's "help" us as players will not and cannot have enough evidence and clues to finish the case, the authors chose to make him play a more crucial role by having him give some crucial parts (more than the previous prosecutors whose only purpose is to try and defeat the defense) and i don't think that's a bad thing, I like it that there's positive interaction, adds more aspects to the story, and I'd like to see him return, the more the better.)
3) though this is not likely but just in case...no daryan please ORZ his hair drives me nuts...unless he lets his hair down or gets a haircut =w=
