Perfect. I love that idea, because Polly didn't really fit, but maybe they could do something like what they did with Mia (in the future when Polly is older) and have Polly murdered, and um... Trucy accused of the crime, and a new attorney has to defend? Or maybe Phoenix? I think that they changed the attorney because Phoenix was looking like too much of a hotshot and that no one would ever be able to beat him.

Plus playing through it again it seems like Trucy Bail's him out a lot more than Maya or Mia helped Phoenix still he's a rookie I'm sure he'll do better eventually though still they are going to need a reason for him to face up against Payne again.

But, uh, people don't 'hate' Apollo because he's 'not' Phoenix. They just liked Phoenix better/thought he was a stronger character/don't like what was done to his life and career so Apollo could be the main protagonist etc etc

Sorta true, they can have a big arch villein, who Phoenix would have assumed Maya would already know about, or talked about it off screen because it had no connection to later cases.
What it would mean if Phoenix was a legal aide, no Maya (except maybe phone calls or when Nick isn't there) and no spirit channeling (with the same qualifier as above).

Phoenix WAS the star of GS4 :O Apollo was just the character I played. Remember case 1 -> Phoenix showed you the truth of Gavin, Apollo had no idea. lol. Case 4 -> You know that was Phoenix' case :P. That's how I realised GS4 :D

That's a good point, but for me, I didn't see it as that. Yeah, it seemed like we could compare Apollo in the first case to someone like.... Vaan in FFXII, someone who's just along for the ride, so to speak. But in my opinion, the game was Apollo's, even though he was solving the case that Phoenix left behind.

That way he'd be busy defending random characters from his Arc (Such as Larry, Maya, Lotta, Adrian Andrews, etc) during GS5 and just pop in once or twice in Apollo's cases, like how Mia showed up in GS2... Only not in court... Or dead... Or in a little girl's body... That way dear ol' Polly can actually get a bit of character development and Phoenix can regain some of his lost dignety.
And he should totally steal money from the victims. It's not like they need it or anything...
