Ace Attorney on iPhone?

So with the new iPhone 3G coming out, theres going to be the app store where you can buy not only software for your iPhone, but also games. And from what my Google-ing has turned up, it looks like some popular game companies like Sega and EA Games are porting some of their games to the iPhone.
So does anyone think there might be the possibility of Capcom porting some of their games *cough*Phoenix Wright*cough* to the iPhone?

As mentioned there were a bunch of AA games released on the mobile phone (one for America I think who have Verizon) and they were just in the format of the original GBA series.
It lagged a lot but it was still playable.

That came into my mind at one point, but I also figured that the mobile version on Verizon was crappy to begin with. Its slow and hard to control. I figured since the iPhone has a touch screen, they could just port a slightly revised interface of the game to the thing.

The iPhone doesn't have a call button. You would have to go to the phone section to call someone.
Besides, the screen would say it was calling someone if it was, and you wouldn't be in the game then, so you would probably just hit end call before they picked up if you accidentally went to the phone section and then told it to call someone.

but maybe the japanese had a case they never put in the game and it was almost done so the americans would finish the minor glitches

The issue is that they would have to change it from an iphone/ipod touch version, as those don't have many buttons and using the touch screen would pretty much be needed to get it to work.

iPhones/Touches can't use styli. It's one of those terrible cases where it for some reason can only pick up fingers. I have touch light switches that work like that.

Its a system that picks up the static off your fingers (or something like that). Apple put it on so that it could make the multi touch thing easier.
and I dont think iPod classic one would be a good idea. the iPod and iPhone/iTouch have different interfaces, and much code would have to be rewritten to get it to work.

I was 17 when I joined this forum. During this time I participated in a thread that made light of sexual assault and event making jokes about it. I didn't think much of it at the time other than portraying a villain. I am older, looking back see how unacceptable & disgusting. I removed the comments because I do not wish to condone this behaviour. But of course fragments remain. I can only apologise for any hurt of distress caused.

I have both an iPhone and a DS, and I really don't think the iPhone is THAT much easier to lose. It's not that much smaller than the DS and they weigh about the same.
