Well, that may change, due to the ties and connections ME:AA has with Ptapcc's AJAA: Justice's Memoir's. To prevent spoiling a certain case of his, since he's going episodic, I might too. :edgy:

Hey, but..I think that maybe we can improve a bit more the fangame, making complete Sahwit sprites, Payne as Co Council, Richard Burns sprites(Just a slight edit) and a custom profile pic for the victim, other slight edit, like this:

Percei made complete Sahwit sprites. Payne I'm not sure and Burns yeah, you are right. Nice profile pic.

Hey, I like it! If you could just sort out the rough edges, make the glasses a little thicker, and change the jacket colour to blue, I'll use it!

Sure. Parts of it, like below the ear are a bit uneven, and on the jacket it's not that smooth. That's all I meant. XD

-- To stars1984 and everyone else --

There will be an upgraded version containing a few new GFX which is the PWlib one. It will be ready as soon as clivo100 finishes compiling all the errors he/she/it? has found.

Beta-testers...that reminds me. If Scent, Krazytimes and Lynx are lurking around then you are no longer beta-testing any other PWlib cases. I was waiting for your reply but I never got one. I know it was confusing with all the script updates within a day but there were some general errors in the first CE :payne:

-- From the PWlib programmer of ME: AA; Tap --

EDIT: Lol, Shadow sent me a PM expressing why I directly stated this but still, please make sure you can actually beta-test before you sign up.

I don't know what this game has, but, It caught my attention, I played the demo and it was awesome, but I don't like being penalized when I press someone. Anyway, looking forward the full game. :will:

I made the penalty-presses to make the gameplay harder and more AA-like, since I do think needless objecting would net a niiiiiice penalty. :karma:

Whoops. I think I tried to do the first part and sent in some errors, but I never downloaded the revision of the looping glitch. :<

Make sure you do. ^^ Just report any errors you find to Ptapcc, or if you didn't notice any, just send him a short note about how the gameplayed and if it was ok. :edgy: Just so everyone knows, a Ptapcc said, I didn't authorize his message.

He will receive harsh penalties for his actions. :karma: :karma: :karma:

Butas a note, I'm going to clear the PWlib beta-test list, and have re-applications, as I think there are too many. :grossburg:

Cases will be made with AAO and ported to PWlib by myself and SE here, so no, that isn't a demo. Cases are being released episodically btw.

--UPDATE!--

Sorry it's been so long, I've been studying for several exams. Exams suck. Especially Biology exams. Anyway!

The PWlib Case 1 is very near completion now, as I'm just waiting for Tap to give me the OK. :edgy:

Case 2 Part One is still in progress, and is moving on slowly but surely. The 700th frame mark has been passed, and I hope to make the number end up somewhere between 800 and 1000, (since I read somewhere that 1000 frames is slightly dangerous).

Game-wise, it is now for definate that Part One will be released with Cetera placeholders, and maybe Correal placeholders. Depends when the Correal sprites are finished. :D

Also, once it's complete, I'll be looking for 3 beta-testers to test Part One and ensure a perfect release ( :franny: ), to give the players the best possible experience. More details will be available as the part nears completion. :edgy:

And yes, the new official codename for this part will be Case 2 Part One. :sawit:

Yup, The PWlib version of Case 1 should be ready soon. The reason it is late because of our beta-testers, who 3/4 didn't test it plus I have my own game as well.

We should see Case 1 soon along with an announcement for two...actually scrap that.

RECRUITING TWO BETA-TESTERS

Your job will be to test the final version of the PWlib Case 1 and comment on anything that looks odd. For example, bugs, lack of sound effects, shaking, flashing etc.

You'll probably get the game in 2-5 days, depending on how fast I can finish coding my Case 1.

Anyone interested? :sawit:

I just finished the first case and it was very well made. The story was interesting and the contradictions sometimes challenging to find. (Which is not a bad thing) But I had some problems with the game:

1. You probably should make a Payne aid sprite. It looked weird with him floating in the air.

2. Frank Sawhit's body floated sometimes.

3. Some grammar mistakes

4. New sprites for witnesses and other characters would make your game seem more professional. I think you should make some instead of using ones from other games.

But over all, a very fun game! I look forward to case 2. :godot:

Thanks for the compliments! I'll reply by number too.

1. Yeah, there should be one, really. It'd look a bit better than the reverse Cow & Chicken thing I've got going at the moment. XD (Note to DL: Make Payne skinnier for his aid sprite! :edgy: )

2. That's how the sprite is formed, unfortunately. Don't forget, Sawhit only appeared at the witness stand during Case 1's court scene. :jake:

3. Yeah... everyone's said that. I'll fix 'em eventually, I swear! :payne:

4. Ok, thanks for the tip. i did try making a little discreet connection to a certain AA character to the only AA character rip-off. XD

Again, thanks for the comments. :phoenix:

EPIC TOPIC REVIVAL!!

Yes, this project is not dead. Far from it. It's still very much alive! :D

Now, the most major announcement is the release of Case 2 Part One!

You can play it here:

Case 2: Investigation Day 1 Part 1:

http://aceattorney.sparklin.org/jeu.php?id_proces=10383

Note: The case contains placeholders as the sprites have not yet been completed at the time of release. :godot:
Case 2 screenshots will be added to the first post shortly. :edgy:
And a big thank you to all the beta-testers who took part in correcting all the bugs. ;)

I hope you all play and enjoy this brand new installment to ME:AA. :edgy:

EDIT: The first post has been edited. :edgy:

I love the way this is done. Playing as the prosecution is so much fun!

Only thing that really annoyed me was the floating sprites.

I don't use Firefox (it sucks on the Mac), and it would also be nice to be able to play the case offline.

(In other words, please release on a desktop casemaker.)

As for the game itself, it's good. However, if someone bothered to make a front-facing Payne sprite, can you ask them to make one that looks like a decent co-council?

There are plans for a PWlib release for the cases. In fact, I'm the one converting Case 1 for Shadow and have been doing it for quite some time. Unfortunately, that project is on hiatus due to technical issues.

I played this and I was amazed at how cool it would be to be a prosecutor side, I saw another one of edgeworth done, but the one in this thread was pretty great improvement (especially with the music)

I hope you guys can do more cases like these!
