I seem to use my left more for typing more than my right hand. D: :payne:

Left side of your body = right side of brain, and vice versa. However, usually lefties have more "equal" sides of the brain, while righties typically have a much stronger left side than a right side. (Of course, that's what I heard, so I can't really guarantee its accuracy :yuusaku: )

It's kinda wierd, since I'm totally a math/science guy and not a writer (don't let Ping' find out, tho :bellboy: )

I remember seeing that exact diagram in university. How coincidental?

Anyways, as an update, I've returned from my leader's retreat and will try to get a decent amount of sleep today. However, by this Friday, I'll try to have a written script for everyone on the program team. Thanks again for signing up, all of you rock!

No problem, though progress may be slow on my side as I'm helping Ping' with Demo 3.0 as I can program in PWlib and Pywright.

Not a problem at all. I'm already thankful that you've joined up with all this other stuff on your palette. I'll still try to send out the script by Friday;D

There's a lot of left-handed people here at CR!

Anyways, back on topic: I'm just letting the program team know that the written script will be constructed on OpenOffice Writer. It will include images and a few screenshots to assist with the scripting, along with the crime scene photos, autopsy reports and anything else you may need.

I'd like to know which method would be better, along with a few other things:

- Making a single script that would universally apply to every member of the program team.
- Making multiple scripts that splits up the work along the members according to their levels of programming and other traits.

AND ALSO

- Will a easy viewing script work better, or will it be better to make it so that the script is printable and easy to read? It all depends if you're better with clicking back and forth between scripting and reading, or if you prefer printing out a script and reading while you script.

- Which upload site works best for you to download from?

Thanks everyone!

Yeah there is. 99% of AA fans must be left handed :karma:. I believe making multiple scripts would be better as the beginners might be overwhelmed at all the work. Uh, an easy script would be fine as I won't be printing it- just have Open Office open.

Megaupload is the best but it keeps crashing so Media Fire.

With all this chit-chat about programming --

I've had to come to a conclusion. I just won't have enough time for the time-being to port your game.

I've got three programming competitions (Neoflash Spring Compo, Drunken Coders Winter Compo, Canadian Computing Compo), ALL set in March (for some strange reason); also planning on entering a film festival near mid-2010. I also have a song in production that I've already started with someone else that I can't let down for this.

I'm sorry :(

I doubt I will be fully committable after the summer of 2010; that's when my senior year starts.

However, with the resources I plan to dish out prior to my leaving, I hope that enough people will be able to learn how to use LuAA to their liking and program this with their help. Hopefully.

That's alright, B12Core. I know how busy you are.

When a full version of LuAA is released, I'm sure there will be someone on CR that will become knowledgeable in the coding language. Good luck with your competitions!

Thanks.

The demo case I will be releasing soon will be covering every single AA topic that should be covered. The only thing I am missing at the moment is the scan-lines during the Objection! animation (the green/blue scanlines that appear on the bottom screen, next on my to-do list)/psychelocks/mason system/perceive. I will try and finish the demo case by tomorrow so I can start studying up again.

That sounds great:D It'll make it easier to learn.

On another note, I'd like to ask the program team:

- Who has knowledge of programming investigation scenes?
- Who is good with PW effects? (Fading, screen shakes, speech pauses, etc.)
- Who wants the basic scripting?
- Who can script all parts of a trial? (Testimony, cross-examination, etc.)
- Who can script the additions to the Court Record?

This will help assign parts properly to the right people. Thanks again, everyone!

Much appreciated, DeMatador. I'm currently making the base script right now for every member, and then I'm going to manipulate it to match each member's skills.

It'll be a pretty detailed script, to say the least.

Everything. I recently tried investigations and have the knowledge. I do not mind completing the hard stuff, such as dealing with trials. I really don't mind what you assign me to but preferably, I would like to take Court as well...you can see that for yourself tomorrow.

The only thing I remember having trouble with was examine screens, because I couldn't figure out what the right pixel coordinates were for whatever part of the scene I wanted to examine. However, with some examples I could probably figure that out. Other than that I think I'm fine with everything.

Maybe SOME parts of the trial I'm not sure about,

Many apologies for the double post, but I thought everyone should know that I have successfully recreated the synopsis of the first case in the style of CR's case descriptions page, with Phoenix's point of view and the Villain's point of view.

This synopsis details how the crime was carried out, who is guilty, and other information. However, it does not contain information on how to progress in the game.

To anyone who'd like to see this synopsis, please drop me a message here, or PM me, and I will happily send it to you.

Cheers!

Apologies, I have been working on the scripts, but they're each written separately to fit each person's area of expertise. I haven't had much time this week on top of that, so I've basically had time to put together Ptapcc's script, along with a part of Attorneyatlawl's script, and the first case synopsis, which I've been desperately trying to remake every since "the incident."

So, sorry again. I am devoting my time to making the scripts, so please wait a little longer.
