Negative colours->black thing does work. We tried it using AHLTL, and succeeded. We need to:
* fix timings
* add sfx

I haven't been this excited about a project since S2HD!! :will:
Too bad Media player won't let me play .avi files anymore :payne: (that's the trade off for .ogg ones)
Many Questions about the pysche locks though
1.Will it support both the gs4 style and the gs2-3?
2.Will you be able to add more than 5 locks?
3.Black locks anyone?

1. Gs4: the magatama button and gs2-3 the present magatama? If so, i'll add it (the magatama button will be the same base as the perceive one)

2. As many locks as you want to add.

3. Yes.

If we made the animations, would different coloured locks be applicable?

The animation is not needed (PWLib does that for you), you only need the lock gfx, and i'll make a command to use differently colored locks.

3. Yes.

1.What I meant was, In AJ, in case 4, the segment with the Mason system, where the pysche locks come up, but act differently
and also have a different way of starting it

2.Awesome, though I am wondering how for example ten locks would all fit

3. Cool, and with your last post, I'll assume you'll be able to make them any color you want ^^
that is what you meant, right?

Yes. The lock can be any gfx, as long it fits the size. I will add a command to allow that easily.

I'll look on gs4 to see the difference (play all case again, if someone could send me a save point to that portion it could be nice).

- (PWLib) Chains on Psyche Lock now shake upon show and hide.

No problem. I can go working on other feature while it isn't available.

I made a simple test with 10 locks. You need about 16 locks (fully visible) to cover a pw screen.

- (PWLib) Added command to shake a lock (so you can make a lock only shake and not break for effect).

The different way of activating the psyche locks is through the magatama button on the command screen. There's a GIF on the CR Main site. I'll go fetch it.

New On AIGE 0.9.800

All Effects and Object-generic commands now follow the convention: "object type","object name".

Games using the old (wrong) "object name","object type" on commands such as placeslide and placeblink will need update.
I'm fixing Case 1, btw.

I'll also add a "compatibility mode" flag that will try inverting the parameters on the effect creation in case the object can't be found (so it will prevent code rewriting for older games).

compatibility.placecomply or something similar

Updates:

- (AIGE) Standardized Effects format (now it follows the "object type","object name" standard).
- (AIGE) Added the first backwards compatibility config: compatibility.effect
- (AIGE) Fixed issue with effects causing AIGE to freeze if the object wasn't found (now the effect won't be placed).

It took me 2 days to get it working:
4 hours on the first day (including new AIGE features implementation and gfx editing) and 6 on the second (Faced some AIGE bug-fixing, but watching Monk made it easier to deal with).
I'm refining it, adding last effects, but the core is stable and working.

- (PWLib) Added the gotcha bubble.
- (PWLib) Added generic bubble function (just provide a gfx and it will work as a bubble)
- (PWLib) Refactored code and generated more files, so organization on PWLib code is better by a bit.
- (PWLib) Added Perceive System
- (AIGE) Added ability to pause and unpause message box text advance

One of the things that made me finish Perceive so quickly was that some days earlier I was on the PC at university and simply the complete mechanics to make the system came to me (I even wrote it on paper, took 1 sheet of A4).

If you think it, Perceive System isn't a complex, hard to guess system (my opinion).

This is my first post, but:
Will there be support for Dx10 on Vista in any new releases? I can't seem to get the AIGE.exe to run on Vista, despite having C++ and the dx9 dll (extracted from November distributable), says 'not designed for windows' on Vista (I set compatibility of the exe to XP), and I also tried on a Virtual Machine of XP on my vista laptop but it crashed too, saying "Bad Image."

I do have a XP desktop and it ran fine on it, so I can still experiment around with it, just more convenient for me to be able to use the casemaker on my Vista laptop (yes, Vista is awful, but it was a free laptop after rebate so can't complain).

Thank you.

Ps: Is there a official custom language xml file for AHLSL on Notepad++?

I'm almost (for real this time) done with April May. I've just got to take some screenshots and put it in a .zip file, if KSA would be kind enough to shoot me his prefered file hosting site.

This took longer than expected. The sprite sheet in the Graphics section was missing alot of sprites, so I had to do a complete rework and make individual sheets. Then I had trouble animating her. Luckily, I used my super-secret method to get the animation as close as possible to the actual game. I think she turned out real well.

(All though that's big talk seeing as I have no pic of her to show it....yet.)

I develop and test AIGE on Vista (all shots are of it running on Vista, both on my desktop and laptop), so I'm sure it runs on Vista.

No new render until I organize the render system. Once I'm able to implement a dx10 render, i'll be able to do an opengl one too.

No official one for AHLSL, but someone released one for PWLib commands (and will release a better in the future).

-> For hosting, anything except rapidshare. (I'm not up to date with those host sites since I don't use them much).

I keep getting a 'd3dx9_34.dll is either not designed to run on windows or contains an error' message when I try to run AIGE.exe to test the script though, so I'm wondering if I have the files in the right places. Is there any other dll I need? (I have C++). I tried both the official redistributable version and the one that was linked to on some page in this thread.

Basically the file structure I have is:
AIGE.exe is in the pwlibhayase1.1 core folder after unzip/unrar.
so is the d3dx9_34.dll
I moved the folders in the graphical set into the same directory.

Sorry for the trouble.

AIGE requires:

- The d3dx dll (i have it here if you want, msn or something).
- The ms vc2005 sp1 redist

You can get the dll by two ways: dllsite (search on google for the dll) or install the latest dx9. I think that this dll is supposed to be on vista (not sure).

MS and its 250k versions of the d3dx dll...

Ok, found it (I didn't seen that, didn't expect it to be only on the sheet).

The problem now is the high def bg for the court. I only used a single bg (that is where the char would be) due to the lack of it.
