Edit: Scrap all that. I eventually managed to get into the KSA Tech site's forum and can see there's a reply but I can't access it because the page load keeps timing out. Frustration! I'll try again tomorrow.

Site problems, and the temporary page on KSA Technology HQ:

The site was out all day due to a problem with the server, most specifically the machine had a problem during the night and killed part of my database (so the site wasn't loading).
I'll try to recover what's possible of the database so the site can return (probably I'll have to redo the site), and in the meantime i put up a temporary page (simple, but contains the download links for PWLib 1.1 and needed stuff, as well a news list).

The board still works: http://www.ksatechnologyhq.com:1357/ktsite/board/

i suggested that long ago, along with developing a gba-like layout with ds's functionality (and its scale while still keeping the 4:3 ratio, so 256x192 screen size, or possibly 320x240/640x480 with screen stretching, so that it'd work on most monitors without giving an out of range error). don't remember what happened to that.

I considerated the idea when Serio mentioned, but there was a problem with the button area placement and clicking to now be mapped correctly on certain cases.

I ended up forgetting about messing with it due to other things, but I can try to tackle with it now (making the window bigger is already possible).

AIGE can now be ordered to change window sizes and the buttons will have its areas on the correct place.

I'll add for PWLib some commands to change the window size and maybe make a config screen with the options.

I was going to post here yesterday, but I couldn't get my grandparents' computer to work.
I have it written down in DSOrganize (a homebrew DS calendar-ish organizer) since you posted it as a kind of "fun fact" some months ago.

Too bad, I was really hoping for 1.2 to come out before PWLib's 1st birthday.
Oh well.

Now the cake's over and it's time to work.

News
- (AIGE) Implemented Timers. Timers have two versions: progressive and regressive. When a regressive timer reaches 0, it will send a signal (the signal is defined as the timer's alarm).
- (AIGE) Improved Signal System:
* All sent signals are now stored instead of only the most recent one.
* Two signals sending same name but different values will result on the last value to be stored only.
- (PWLib) Implemented (and fixed) Fingerprint Analysis core (only the dusting part, not the compare yet). (Screenshot soon). (I had this working for a while now, just decided to show it now.)

Hey, just a quick question, which I don't seem to find anywhere:

After calling the speedlines with <runscript("pw_showspeedlines");>, is there a "hide speedlines" command? Because I tried <runscript("pw_hidespeedlines");>, then the new bg I wanted to use, and it gave me a blanck background.

There is no hidespeedlines.

The showspeedlines just set an animation to the bg:

[pw_showspeedlines]
setbganimation("pw_speedlines");
setbgsize(256,256);

Just set the new bg and it will be put in place of the speedlines.

I just tested here:

runscript("pw_showspeedlines");
message("Oh, $c{colorpwblue}hello.");
message("My name is Ema Skye!");
runscript("pw_usepwbgcourthall");
runscript("pw_setnameboxtotrucy");
runscript("pw_enabletrucynormal");
message("Oh, hello. My name is Trucy.");
message("I'm a magician.");

And the bg is set accordingly.

News
- (AIGE) Texture Sweeper renamed to Texture Garbage Collector.
- (AIGE) Added more configuration options for the Texture Garbage Collector:
* garbagecollectorinterval: defines the interval (in frames) that the garbage collection will run.
* garbagecollectormaxage: defines the number of passes that it will take for an unreferenced texture to be removed by the collector.
- (AIGE) Changed the autosweep option to garbagecollector.
- (AIGE) Garbage collection done by the Texture Garbage Collector will report now as: "<Texture Garbage Collector> Automatically unloaded X textures." in the log and console.
- (AIGE) Added new commands to change the type flag of a texture: flagtextureasreference and flagtextureasnormal. Textures flagged as reference will be immune to the Texture Garbage Collector, as well as several other commands such as buildtexture.
- (AIGE) Fixed small internal issue with Accelerated Text Rendering (thanks to NVIDIA PerfHUD 6).

I was looking at the Gyakuten Wiki page for PWLib when I saw the information about the Mikumo Extension. I was curious as to a use for it for my game. My idea was, at certain points in a case, you are prompted to go to a location and speak to someone, triggering the "Logic" sequence, then use the "Logic" items from there.

So essentially, what I'm asking is, will you be able to integrate certain features of the Mikumo Extension into an otherwise GS-type game?

Yes.

Mikumo Extension is an Extension, so you will be able to use Logic on a normal PW game.

The logic fragments are independent from the Court Record/Organizer.

You know, if necessary, I'd be willing to provide all the GS4 music optimized for looping (Intro separated and fade-out removed so it transitions near perfectly back to the beginning), I've been doing some of the music for my game and it's really not that hard.

It would be nice.

I'm considering into adding a new pack to PWLib 1.2 (obviously, the Music Pack with all tunes ready for looping).

Also with it provide with PWLib 1.2 the pre-prepared playlists with the looping (basically something like "pw_play*****();" to prepare and instantly play the tune).
