If I could inject a flash engine on AIGE, then copy its results to a texture, it would be done.

Videos are seen as a simple texture (that you assign to an object), so you can't work with videos for lipsync.
You could set a video as the frame of an animation and then use such animation on lipsync, but there would be the issue of "transparency" (i'm thinking on adding transparent videos support now btw).
Basically:
create 2 video handlers and setup it.
create 2 animation with 1 frame using the texture the video handler uses (one for each anim).
when setting the char, plays the videos (both the talking and silent ones).
The issue see is that the video won't be stopped/paused on sync changes, or when the text stops.
The issue will be fixable as I implement MLS (multi lane system) on AIGE...
Conclusion: use native animation. Easier, faster, less resource usage.
