Turnabout Reality:

When rookie lawyer Calvin Wheeler got his next case, he never expected it to be a murder.. least of all at his own school! Take up the role of Calvin and his assistant Sophie as they discover the secrets and truth behind the witnesses, and what really happened that day..

This is a project I came up with about three years ago with friends. It's essentially a PW case with real-life graphics, trying to stick to original PW style as possible! After recording and processing all the footage and images, drawing up a plot and planning gameplay flow, we couldn't find a suitable casemaker to bring it all together. However, I've recently discovered the amazing PyWright, and now the case is coming to life :D

Part One features the first two days of the case - an investigation day, followed by a court day. The finished case will be four days long. I've tried to match the gameplay length up to an authentic PW case.

Part One is finished, but currently undergoing what you might call localisation redraft XD The first version has been distributed to friends, and before releasing here I'm changing names for privacy purposes, replacing in-jokes with more general humour, and relocalising the case to America (the original contains alot of British education system references that may have caused confusion.)

The screen shots of your game remind me of some of the old Sega CD games that were more reality based (but they were more movies than just still with text). This looks very interesting and I can't wait to see how it will come together.

Let me know if you need any help localizing it, especially if you have questions about how to change the school references to fit with American schools. I was a teacher and I still work in the school system and I might be able to help you out.

Oh noes you are changing the names!

I am glad to see this project getting to a releasable state. The characters are really funny and interesting, and the photos and, should I say, overacting, hehe, give this a very unique style. It matches phoenix wright surprisingly well, and the case itself has a lot to it.
