So, here's a bit of a weird one. You know how there's that show about the horses that half the internet loves and the other half wants to murder? Well, imagine if that show had a baby with the Ace Attorney series that was only partially an abomination against genres. This is where I come in. This is a series of crossover cases I'm making with Ace Attorney Online. Pretty much everything is being made by myself, save for the music, which is all official music, and the design of a certain element in the second case, to which I have to give credit to Forged Artifacts. Two of the cases are out right now - I'm working on the third and final case, but it will be a while. For now, enjoy your meh first case and better second case!

---Case 1: The Blinded Turnabout---

When a pair of twins is accused of murdering a world famous movie star in their own home, Doli is more than willing to protect the twins due to their special conditions. But how could they be innocent with countless pieces of evidence and two eye witnesses pointing to their guilt?

Trial 4:2

---Case 2: Me, Myself, and Turnabout---

In the middle of the theft of a tremendously valuable artifact, a security guard is found dead... and locked in the same room as the suspected thief. Sure, it seems simple enough as it... But have you taken your client's mental disorder into account?

If you need a walkthrough for either of these cases, I put up a guide on a similar thread on this forum. Enjoy, everyone!

Well, Henry, to each his own. If you don't like MLP, don't play the case. Nobody's forcing you to. Not quite sure what else you'd expect from a game entitled "Horse Lawyer".

It looks like quite a bit of effort has been put into this. I might have to check it out later.

I'd rather have the biggest OC fest than a Pony OC fest.

Maybe it would be better if you Actually made it be...
Not a crossover game?

Just telling... It would work out better as an Ace Attorney fangame.

Hey, don't worry about it! Basically, the whole reason I made it a crossover game was, well... this beauty was my last attempt at human spriting.

Also accounting for the fact I couldn't make custom backdrops or evidence graphics, I couldn't even attempt recreating the visuals from the series. So, instead of drawing crappy humans, I decided to draw fairly well drawn ponies in my own style. As for why there are a bunch of OCs, that's just so there are more legitimate suspects. Everyone knows the official characters won't end up being the killers.

And as for the whole 'Horse Lawyer' thing, the name started out as a joke. But that's what a few people began calling it, so I figured I'd keep it.

just played the first case. And, damn the chills, the chills it gave me. anyway, apart from some minor grammar mistakes, it was fantastic! also, one little thing. at the end of part 1 of the final trial, you put the defense background instead of the prosecutor background, which looked freaking weird. I'm just about to play case 2, and ill give my feedback after. Also, is it alright if i do a video walkthrough of the first case?
Difficult-looking legal books stand in a formidable row. They mock me. I tried reading one, and it made my head hurt. When I closed it, it slipped out of my hand. Then my foot hurt too. - Phoenix Wright

I don't know if the second post guy has played many fangames here on CR/AAO, but this is quite an impressive feat for a single author (and a relatively new one from what I understand) to provide a high-quality presentable case, especially since it's a crossover case too assets must be created/adapted to the AA format.

A lot about this case looks clean and well designed (as in, not giving me an impression this is made by an amateur) just from the first post screencaps alone.

So have to agree with Ropfa, if you think (rather, know for sure) that this is not really for you, no point in even posting :P

He also seems to think that all crossover cases are bad, when actually this is one of the few decent cases released recently in AAO.

Plus, he hates AAO to begin with. I haven't really seen him say anything good about anything he's commented on.

Hey everyone! I know that it's been a while since I last posted here - I just thought I'd let you all know that work has started up again on the third and final main case. I may make a few small cases after this, but I'm not too sure. Anyways, if you'd like some spoiler-free backdrops, a character design sheet, and a few other previews, there are a few below the cut. Thank you for your interest in this little project! :gant:
