It's been a year since the HAT-2 case, and the dark age of the law seems finally to have cleared up. As trials become fairer, justice prevails; yet beneath it all, something sinister lies - an untraceable web of corruption and injustice that seeks to once again devastate the legal system...

After the death of Hallowed Be Thy Turnabout, I felt like I should start fresh. Court and Condemnation is a 5-case fangame that takes place a year after Dual Destinies. It's being written in PyWright, and will feature playable cases from Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes. Additionally, it features a new detective/prosecutor combination, and a cast of returning characters. However, it should be noted that the finished product will likely contain Dual Destinies spoilers. Case 1 is free of these, however.
Spoiler: Case 1: A Turnabout In Red
A murder takes place in an art gallery shortly before famed artist Scarlett Mystique is to give a showcase. "Lady Mystique" is arrested for the crime, however, and Phoenix takes her case. The case is simple enough, yet its implications stretch far further than meets the eye...
Cast: Name: Scarlett Mystique Gender: Female Age: 32 The defendant. A famous artist. She has an air of serenity about her.
Name: Percival Sec Gender: Male Age: 28 The victim. A laid-back security guard of The Avant Garden, the most esteemed art gallery in Los Japangeles.
Name: Vladimir Urity Gender: Male Age: 35 A security guard at The Avant Garden. He has an impressive vocabulary, but his grammar is less than stellar. He claims to have witnessed the killing gunshot.
Name: Cal Turrell Gender: Male Age: 50 The curator of The Avant Garden. He's very passionate about his work, but his confidence is easily shaken. He was the first to discover the body, and the defendant alongside it.
Spoiler: Case 2: Ye Olde Turnabout
It's the middle of the summer, and the Wright Anything Agency decide to relax by visiting a medieval recreation at a nearby stately home. The weather turns poor, however, and so they enter the house... only to find a body pinned to a wall by a rapier. The owner of the manor is arrested, and Athena takes his case.
CAST: Name: Barney Cooper Gender: Male Age: 42 The detective assigned to the case. He's watched one too many old detective dramas.
Name: "Laurice Deauxnim" Gender: Male Age: 35 A sketch artist assigned to create a commemorative drawing of the fair. As always, he's more trouble than he's worth.

That should be it. I'm trying to keep certain details under wraps for now, but as development progresses, so too will the information I divulge. Feel free to drop myself or Warmijwilf a PM if you're interested in contributing sprites, backgrounds etc., preferably with a sample of your work. Let's hope my laptop survives this one, eh?
Sure thing. In the meantime, I tried my hand at spriting. Here's Detective Barney Cooper. (Yeah. His head is too small.) He'll be making his debut in Ye Olde Turnabout...
Just an update. My PyWright script for A Turnabout In Red is coming along reasonably well. With any luck, it should be a playable beta by the middle of September or thereabouts. Hit me up if you're interested.
I need just about every type of role, really. Beta testers, spriters, writers, proofreaders... the whole bunch. If you want to help out, then please speak up! You'll probably be in.

Hello! You know something? I want to be the spriter! I really love Phoenix proyects and if I can help count on me, pal!
Awesome! I love the work you did on helping with Mystique's sprite, and some of the newer stuff in your sprites thread is pretty awesome too. I'd be honoured, really :)
