It's called Regeria Hope, and it's a homage to the Phoenix Wright games. I liked the series so much I wanted to write my own stories using the same style. I'm hoping to have the first episode available for free before Xmas, and if enough people like it, I'll make more episodes next year. I'm aiming to have decisions made during the cases affect later cases, and I want to bring in a jury system and have evidence shown affect the story as well. So just finished the demo.

This game is serious eye candy, it really does look nice.

And that judge... he has a very... concerning obsession with Turkey Sandwiches.

If the people had a couple more expressions that'd be nice, people like Pharrel and Shaw were pretty static, other than the odd eyebrow change.

Overall, I'm loving this so far!

Yeah, I'd really like to get more sprites into the game as well. I'm looking to add more as I make more episodes and more people are interested. I'm aiming to have the full version out by December, judge feedback to see if it is worthwhile to keep making this, and look into putting more time and money into it.

It's very encouraging to hear you liked it! I'm looking for beta testers of the final product, so any volunteers would be much appreciated!

DAMN. Very unique. I notice an inconsistency of art styles related to background scenes in two of your screenshots, but very nice. Everything is close-up and in big detail.


Also a unique GUI (looks a tad bid distracting, but its distinct).

Bit late to the party, but it's quite an effort you made with this here! The character designs are great and the music's music to my ears. It's a little on the short and easy side, especially as the timers (while very generous) often make you want to blitz past the dialogue (generally against the timers for that reason). I think there's great potential for these characters, though I'd probably like to see cases with a bit more depth to them (this was fine as a tutorial, but there wasn't a whole lot to dive into or feel clever for figuring out).
