Spoiler: Synopsis (SoJ spoilers)
Taking place a few months after Turnabout Time Traveller, Apollo Justice returns from Khura'in to America on what is supposed to be a simple vacation. Unfortunately for him, he is roped yet again into yet another murder case. With a high profile client, a familiar prosecutor and a locked room mystery, will he able to solve the case and glean the truth?

Q: When will this case be finished?
A: Most likely by the end of this year. It's a bit broad, but I doubt it'll take that long.

Q: Is this case only going to be on AAO?
A: Yes. No PyWright release planned for now.

Q: What should I play this on when it releases?
A: I don't think it'll make a difference, but I'm creating this trial on Chrome so maybe that.

Q: What spoilers will there be for previous AA games?
A: Well, there will be general spoilers to the conclusion of SoJ, but if you're familiar with that as well as previous mainline AA games, you should be good. There will be no spoilers to Turnabout Time Traveller in this case, either, so you don't need to play that case to play this.

Q: Are you looking for help?
A: Absolutely! Proofreaders and beta testers would be appreciated, plus somebody to help with technical issues and such. If you're interested, contact me and I'll see if we can work this out.

Q: Will there be any terrible attempts at humour revolving around world famous physicist Sir Isaac Newton?
A: Oh god no I want this case to be playable.

It does reference SoJ's ending, yes, though there are no Time Traveller spoilers here. I'm more looking for people familiar with the AAO engine though.

Yeah I know next to nothing about AAO so I can't help you there. Hopefully I'll have time to check out the release though.

I haven't actually started properly looking into PyWright yet but maybe maayyyyyybe expect a release if I ever get to it. Not currently looking likely though.

I did, yes :p Main reason was because I felt people wouldn't take me seriously otherwise if I had nothing to show. I was even considering not showing it till it was done but I needed to get some help early on, which is why I posted it now.

Would people be interested in a demo trial here? It would obviously be different than the finished product, but I could do it easily enough after finishing the main game and giving it out to beta testing. Is that fine or would it be better to just show the final product instead?

Given that this is a single-case project and you've cleared arguably the biggest hurdle (spriting/art) it's by no means a necessity. If you wish to do one, it won't harm anything, but with how far into development this project is you should be fine.

Well, it's more that the free custom assets in AAO were more or less enough to cover what I needed for this case :p

I know what I'll be doing though, so there's no need to worry. First I'll finish this case, then send it to my beta tester(s) and proofreader(s), and then start making the demo. I'll probably finish the demo by the time they're done going through it. Then I'll release the demo and have a second call for beta testers during that time. After that, I'll release the case. That's the plan, anyway.

In all seriousness though, as much as I'm trying to finish this, it'll probably take a while. I'm only really able to work on this about once a week and that's if I'm lucky. Don't hold me to the "end of the year" deadline either, I might have to extend it beyond the due date should it come to that.

Of course, that being said, I fully intend to finish this no matter what. I've been working on this for a while and it just wouldn't feel right if I gave up so easily.

Thanks, I'm honoured.

No other real updates to give now, but mainly because I haven't worked on this case at all. Currently my priority is on finishing an entry I made for an AAO comp with fellow user cesar26100, and it's taking longer than I expected. I'll get back to this case once I finish that, but I also have... something else coming up soon enough which will also occupy my free time. It's gonna take a while, but I'll do my best to come back to this, I swear.
