Yay! Epic music is epic? One question, though: Is "Doubted Poeple" supposed to sound like Wakana's theme?

Possibly, I haven't really listened to many of the songs.

I have and I love these.
My favourite is Edgeys ItT -theme.

And I like the way they did Gumshoes theme.
Since it's pretty much all just piano
--> I'm in heaven!

This might be the best OST yet
(In my taste, at least)

What I've read is right. It's very different from all the other soundtracks, yet it's hauntingly similar. Interestingly enough, I was looking at the tags for the songs, and the composer for this OST was the same for GS3, which was also one of the bet.

I didn't like the new Gumshoe at all, the best part of his original theme was the background part.

You cannot say 110%! It is irrelevant!

Also, Gumshoe's background thing is still there.

The soundtrack is out and we're all waiting for compilingpw to add it. Well, there's also a download of it in this thread somewhere. But I don't want to bother downloading it all.

You make it sound like my site is famous around here or something. Anyway, I'll (FINALLY) add it, probably tomorrow. I've been thinking of putting up some other stuff too (Professor Layton music maybe).

As per this website (VGMdb), the composer is Noriyuki Iwadare. He worked on the first three GS games, and he was the arranger for the orchestral and jazz albums, as well as the orchestra concert. He's pretty wonderful. :edgy:

Out of curiosity, how is everyone hearing all of these other tracks that haven't been posted in this thread? Has anyone created a complete rip of the soundtrack yet?

In a word: yes. ;)

Yeah, me too. His new theme just isn't the same at all, is it? It's so boring without the background part

They use both Gumshoe themes in AAI:MS.

Look here at 1:43 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQfWoIeojqk (no spoilers until this scene, but later you can see a rebuttal)

Good lord, the music sounds pretty different from the rest of the series ô_O
Very nice pieces, especially the character themes and the confrontation music :D
the team did a great job, but wtf happened to the reminiscences xD jeez, they're awful, and here I was, thinking 1-3 and 3-3 had pretty weak recollection themes, maybe they sound better within the case and their characters they're assigned to...

They do? Well that's me happy then. :edgy:

Does anyone else just adore Kay Faraday's theme, Wakana's theme, and Edgey's 'Objection!' theme? I think they have to be my current favourites from that soundtrack.
But the AAI soundtrack is nothing compared to T&T. :bellboy: Just saying.

Getting pretty sick of Great Revival in this soundtrack. Let's see...

It's in:
Rebuttal Moderato/Allegro
Objection
Tell the Truth
Thrill Theme ~ Crisis of Fate
The theme of that little machine Kay carries (Forgot what it's called)
And, of course, the epilogue.

It just feels like it doesn't belong in so many of the songs.

You had to necro this topic for that?
Anyway, I'll give it a reason for the bump:

I think I found unused music in GK. It's a much cheerier Won the Case theme than "Splendid Deduction"... Just that there's no actual "Case" to win. But I call it Won the Case 2009. Here it is.

Yep sounds like it would be a cheerier version of Solution, splendid deduction. Actually that one was quite good. Was it fixed as when you rip game music of the rom, you only get the instruments playing, not it's synthesized version, though GK is more orchestral than any other games..

I ripped the song in .midi format and the instrument library (.dls file) from VGMTrans.

Then, I created a .rim file with Awave Studio Licensed, combining it with the .dls file. Then, I opened the .rim file with Modplug Tracker, and exported it as .mp3. That there is the resulting file, and it soudns exactly as it would play in-game. I know it, I tried with Miles Edgeworth ~ Objection! and Pursuit ~ Lying Coldly, and they ended up as they play in-game, 48 KHz.
