And do you remember the name of the country Lang is from? Sorry for all the questions, but you are our shiny beacon of light at the moment XD

Spoiler:
Allebahst I believe, at least that's what I remember, (both sides of the building looks the same, does not really help with my low memory skills. lol) As for Her sis, now that you mention it, she was in that newspaper wasn't she? guess I will get back you on that a little later.

No, in the Japenese version it was refered to as Seihou, it wasn't one of the countries in Case 5's embessies.

Seihou would have been brought up in Case 3, probably right near the end. I'm interested to know if they used the Chinese pronunciation of it like they did Lang's name.

Yes, but near the end. Case 3 brings it up quicker because you meet Lang near the beginning where case 2 only mentions him.

I thought Allebahst, Babahl, and Cohdopia were references to their Japanese names, Arebast, Babaru, and Cordopia, or something like that.

Oh, and while were talking about puns...
Spoiler: Name Puns
Jacques Portsman= Jock Sportsman (best name ever :tennis: )
Buddy Faith= "Buddy" because he's Jacques's buddy, and "Faith" because he has faith in Jacques.
Rhoda Teniero= Teniero Rhoda= The Narrow Road-a
Cammy Meele= Chamomile (sp?)
Zinc LaBlanc= Zinc is white, and Zinc White would make him related to Redd White, so they called him LaBlanc (Blank) :gypsy:
Akbey Hicks= His Japanese name
Hugo Ifly=YouGo iFly (YouGo airlines is the Japanese name of iFly airlines, and the working name in the English version.
Lance Amano= Lots of Money
Ernest Amano= Earn Us the Money (?)
Lauren Paups= Lollipops
Oliver Deacon= Anagram of Colin Devorae
Shi-Long Lang= Chinese pronounciation of the Japanese characters in his Japanese name (Shiryuu Rou, or something like that)
Shih-Na= Phonetic spelling of her Japanese name (I think it was Shiina)
Kay Faraday= Kay could be a reference to the key in her hair :keylady: . Faraday because her father's name is Faraday.
Tyrell Badd= "Badd" as in Bad.
Calisto Yew= Sounds spiritual, maybe?
Cece Yew= Sees You (?)
Byrne Faraday= Burn For a Day
Mack Rell= Mackarel, or something like that
Manny Coachen= His Japanese name
Colias Palaeno= A butterfly (Because he is the ambassador of Babahl, country of the butterfly)
Quercus Alba= A tree (Because he is the ambassador of Allebahst, country of the flower)
Ka-Shi Nou= ???
As if those weren't obvious enough...
EDIT: Fixed the name puns for Colias Palaeno and Quercus Alba. (Thanks again Bad Player)
Say, that reminds me of a puzzle! Have you ever heard this one, Luke?

Just thought I'd give you all some name meanings that aren't in the Characters section yet.

Spoiler: Callisto Yew,spoilers for AAI-5
"Callisto" is a Greek Goddess, who was turned into a star, blending with the night sky. Reference to her spying.

"Yew" is a tree that can blend in to any background. Also a reference to her spying.

Spoiler: Tyrell Badd
"Tyrell" comes from the word Tyrant, meaning someone who is cocky and potentially aggressive.

"Badd"? I don't need to explain that one.

Calisto is also a genus of butterfly.
(butterflies on the cohdopian flag? the yatagarasu key? the knife used on Coachen in case 5? I dunno..)

In Greek myth Callisto is Artemis's favourite nymph friend who was turned into a bear, and then set among the stars as the constellation Ursa Major (along with her son Arkas as Ursa Minor).
in case 5, Gumshoe comments on how the vine design of the blade of the Yatagarasu Key reminds him of stars.
Could "Yew" be a reference to the vines on the flag? As well as the design on the Key/blade?
