IF there's going to be a second 'Perfect Prosecutor' game,
Who do you think should be the main prosecutor this time?

- Miles Edgeworth
- Klavier Gavin
- Franziska von Karma
- Manfred von Karma
- Winston Payne
- Godot
- Lana Skye
- a new character

Discuss anything you like, but don't be off-topic
:uramidn: Enjoy the discuss while you can... Tehehehe...

It has to be Edgeworth. Has to! ^_^

I would die of happiness if they made Gyakuten Kenji into a trilogy. XD

In all honesty, I'd be extremely excited for a Franziska game. I don't think it will ever happen, but it would be awesome if it did, IMO. Especially if you get to whip people.

HAHAHAHAHA!

I've got to admit, a Klavier game would be interesting. I'd like to hear his inner monologue, and see how much of his normal personality is an act.

I hope Perfect Prosecutor (I think it'll be 'Ace Prosecutor', dunno why.) becomes a trilogy, with Miles being the main prosecutor in all three games. Maybe the last part of the last chapter of ME:AP/PP will show whatever happened to every single Pheonix era character that didn't appear in AJ:AA. Or that could very well be covered in GS5. Maybe they'll release GK1 as a 'teaser' for GS5, which would come out in Late 2009 or Early 2010 (wait, have they announced a temptative release date for GK? Because between GS4 and GK1 there would be 2 years, so maybe between GK1 and GS5 there could be also 2 years, or something like that.)

1) Sorry for double post, I accidentally double posted my first post and edited the 2nd.
2) Klavier would be making the PP saga in a hurry. I mean, GS1 prosecutorgame --> GS4 prosecutor game.
The biggest mystery would be EXACTLY when will GK1 take place.

I think there's an excellent chance Edgeworth's game will sell well, considering it's Edgeworth, in which case a sequel isn't out of the question by a long shot. But depending on the timeline, I kind of hope they don't give him a full trilogy in the "between GS3 and GS4" time. It'll be weird to think of so much happening in between the games that fails to have an effect on the main narration, especially since they've already stated Phoenix isn't going to be directly involved.

I mean, a single game is one thing. But if they do another, I'd rather they pick another prosecutor. Franziska would be fun, because then they could set it in Europe and have a whole new cast. Klavier would be good because they could potentially show a new side to him that you don't have access to from Apollo's POV, plus it would tie the spinoff back to the current main cast.

I highly doubt they'll do a Prosecutor spinoff game with someone entirely new, unless this one does insanely well.

Hmm... You really think very well Croik! But does that mean Phoenix will be only mention, but not appear in the game? Back to the topic, I think Franziska will most likely have a new assistant/detective around her if they are going to make her the main character of the sequel game.

Godot, complete with a 'Drink Coffee' button (which is needed to complete each case - if you don't press it/don't press it enough, Godot collapses, getting you a Game Over). :godot:

How about a compilation where you get to play as different prosecutors? This is how it works:

Edgeworth: As Edgeworth, you must move your body and eyes around so you are always glaring at the witness. Once you glare at them enough they break down and confess, but if you don't do it enough then they recover and you lose.
Manfred: You go forgers, and beat them into submission with your taser by pressing indicated points on the DS Screen (think Elite Beats Agents) until you get the forged evidence necessary to win.
Franzy: Whenever an argument comes on in court, you use the stylus to whip the judge onto your side.
Klavier: Air guitar your way to victory! (Guitar Hero style)
Godot: ???
Payne: Profit!
(He he... but i srsly dunno what game to do for Godot and Payne)

Minigames make everything better! :D

Now that I think about it, it might be kinda cool to play as Fran and Godot so that we can finally see what goes on in their minds. I hardly need to say this, but they both are a bit out there in comparison to Nick and Miles. Their inner monologues would provide fascinating insight into the characters, and the PW fandom would experience a fanfic renaissance.

In one of the interviews the creators said that the only role Phoenix would take in the game would be the briefest of cameos: like maybe seeing him sitting at a ramen stand in the background of an area. Kind of like the same way that you can see Larry at Sunshine Coliseum in AJ.

Of course they could always change their mind, or have been lying to keep the surprise, but for now that's what we know.

I think it would be nice if he could play a small role in the last case or something. I mean, :phoenix: X :edgy: innuendo is half the reason I like these games so much.

But I can see why they would want to leave Phoenix out of this. His presence totally dominated Apollo Justice, for better or for worse.

ZOMG! I figured out the Payne minigame!!

It'll be the last minigame in the game; the "boss"

Spoiler: 3-1
It starts when Mia pwns him. You have to catch as many of the hairs as you can as they fall down through the air. If you don't get enough, you go emo and kill yourself.

You then go to the store. You must find the perfect jar to place your hair in. If you do not buy the perfect jar, the jar you bought comes to life and eats you.
You must then put the jar on your mantle. You have several other items that you must also put on your mantle. You must arrange them in correct fung shui. If you do not, you get tons of bad luck, causing demon butterflies to come and eat you alive.
You then embark on a mystical journey to Tibet. You must undergo trials in an adventure game rpg to prove to the tibetian monks that you are worthy enough to have their hair-growth tonic. The bosses include a cardboard box, snow, a can-opener, and the 'select' button. The final trial is a minigame within the minigame where you are handed a series of objects, and you must label each one as a ladder or step-ladder.
After doing all that, the tibetian monks prepare their hair growth forumula. However, something goes wrong, and a portal opens, into which you are sucked in.
The game then becomes a crossover with Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo.
You must travel through the world of Bobobo, locating the monks that were sucked into the portal with you (in a gameplay similar to GBA LoZ). When he locates them, they transport them back to the original world and give him the hair growth formula. However, before it will work, he must beat someone in court!
So then he goes back to prosecuting, but he gets a losing streak of losing OVAR 9000 cases in a row. 2 of them are to Phoenix. The other OVAR 8998 are to the tibetian can-opener that you previously defeated. However, you are finally able to beat a twig.
So then the game ends and you get to drink the hair growth tonic!! :D However, it only allows you to grow hair faster in places that you already have hair, not grow new hair in places that you don't have hair....

And that's the story of how Payne got his long hair for 4-1 ^_^

That would be really cool. I've always wondered what Klavier is really like in his private life.

If they don't make him the next prosecutor, they could maybe could give us lyrics to some of his songs (and make them downloadable content on Rock Band or something.) I know its a long shot but I can dream, can't I?

Me too, I want to learn more about his personality. He seems to be 'glimmerous fop' in front of Apollo, Trucy and Ema etc... But I think it's not his real personality, therefore I support your opinion!

This is actually cool enough to make into a full-scale game! If you actually try do, I'll do my best to help!*salutes*
Hugs for all! ^^

A Winston Payne game would be all about brushing hair, blowing hair and posing hair. I trust the next game would be about Edgeworth, Edgeworth and Edgeworth, but I hope it has more cases.

It would be nice if the second game was about Franziska, the 3rd about Godot, the 4th about Klavier, etc.

Although a Godot game could be a bit difficult... :yuusaku:
