In any case, the point: I just managed to get this book from the bookstore I usually go to for manga, and I was wondering if any information was wanted from it? Although it does mainly seem to be a literal guide to the game, it also has a bit of character information (... well, ages and heights), which was what I was mainly thinking might be of interest (as much as it isn't that far-ranging). In some cases, there's also some full-body pictures in their profiles: if I can get my scanner to work (if... I'm not exactly sure how it's feeling at the moment), would any scans be wanted?
EDIT: It also has character concept art at the back which I didn't notice before.
I guess my main question is, could this be of any use? The information isn't that far-ranging- and it's possible someone's already got the guide, in which case please excuse me for making such a pointless thread. .___.

Most art isn’t drawn to scale but there is one AJ official piece that has some of the characters side by side, we can infer relative heights from that.
That got me thinking: if GK Ema (age 18) is unchanged from GS1 Ema (age 16) it can be assumed that her GS4 (age 25) height is the same, people are supposed to stop growing by then. Now, in the mentioned group art, Apollo is nearly the same height as Ema. She’s wearing heels so we tack on a few cm, still that makes Apollo … kind of short, 5’1” to 5’2” (156 to 159cm) at most. Poor guy, just another way in which he doesn’t measure up. (gets shot for bad joke
)

I was a bit surprised Ema was the same height as she was in GS1. On the other hand, I guess it could be said that girls might not grow as much between 15 and 18, so maybe I shouldn't be that surprised.
And poor Odoroki, if that's the case. .___. That's the sort of height I might have put Minuki at.
(I do wonder whether Kirihito is as tall as Badou. He and Kyouya seem to be pretty darn tall).
EDIT: Photobucket's resized my images, and my scanning's not that great (the amount of them tilted to the side is terrible- might not be good enough), but I have managed to scan all of them. I'm trying to find a way to get the full-sized versions up, but here are the small-sized ones for now.

Also, I've managed to get the larger copies onto my computer (all apart from Konomichi, whose page I forgot to save and which I will get tomorrow)- thing is, I don't know where to upload them so that they don't shrink (as both Photobucket and Imageshack seem to shrink them considerably). Any suggestions...?

You’ll have to find someone to host the images for you. Ask Croik perhaps?

Kazura's concept art was a bit '... ._____.' for me, too. They don't really say much about it, other than it's pretty different from the concept they ended up with (i.e. the fits of laughter). Got to wonder what they were thinking. (I quite like the one they ended up with).

You can generally see more of the pictures in the larger versions, so hopefully it'll be possible to put them somewhere. (Although, Croik aside, I don't really know anyone who could host them for me. I wonder if that would be alright, as the quality probably isn't enough to be put on the main site).
EDIT: Ah, Imageshack doesn't seem to resize the cropped ones. Good good, I'll try to rehost them on there.

I've been waiting and wondering if someone would to scan their book once they received it. Thank you so, so much for this; these are wonderful! So many nice, clear, full body images. I won't feel as though I'm leaving out details while drawing fanart anymore. =)
But I'l be darned if they still haven't shown Ema's lower half/ shoes! She's one of the characters I doodle the most, and all I can gather from her mini sprite is "ambigous brown ankle height shoe" haha. XD Oh well, at least they included almost everyone else in the book.

Pity that the water world area got taken out. Also interesting to see some of the victims' designs.
Some of the initial character designs were a bit '... eh?' for me (Kazura's, and perhaps some others), but I like the way they turned out. (Seems like Carnage was meant to look a bit like a tree, after all- and they certainly got the feel right for some of the Badger designs (like Proto-Badger- it seems they got where they were aiming for with the 'kimochi warui' (ugh) feeling for it).
