The trailer in question:

After playing the game again now, I started to remember the trailer at Captivate and realized how different it is from the actual game. For instance, the crime scene in Edgeworth's office. Most notably, you see Kay present in the AAI-2. I suppose this was made just for the trailer, but I thought it was interesting how it didn't actually come out like this. I especially liked the part at 0:58 though and it wouldn't been funny to see that in-game as well.

The early screenshots tell a different story. As you can see, a few changes were made, specifically the crime scene from what looks like an alleyway and that very nice looking room (and that large fountain in one of the other shots). Some other noticeable differences between the screens and the actual game are the bottom screen's layouts. I'm guessing in the development stage, Capcom was thinking about the "Move" method from AA. It's really cool that they didn't use the old AA buttons and that we didn't have to go to different locations AA style.

What does everyone else think of these changes?

I also remember Edgeworth inspecting a dolphin in old promotional screen-caps as well.

I'm always interested in beta screenshots and information. It's cool to see how a game has changed over time, and what may have been had the creators gone with different design choices.

As I recall, the map in the bottom screen from the alleyway screenshot is a map of the area surrounding Phoenix's office in 4-2, and the building above the highlighted area is itself the Wright & Co. Talent Agency.

I'm really wishing that Kay was in Case 2 because for a main character she really didn't get much screen time. Case 3.....and like...35% of case 5. And a kiddy version in Case 4 that didn't really have the same attitude of the grown up one.

And a lot of those locations that you see in those screenshots we didn't go to, looked really interesting.
I hope if they make a sequel to AAI that they include those missing cases.
Kay had two daddies. Trucy had THREE daddies. Clearly Trucy is the winner.

Speaking of trailers, I hope one day someone includes this "Great Revival" variant and this "Pursuit ~ Lying Coldly" remix from the promotional trailers onto a special soundtrack release. :edgy:

This. As the "annoying teenage sidekick" character, I was expecting her to have more screen time. Honestly, I was also expecting Shi-Long Lang to have more screen time as well, and I was hoping that we would see a younger version of him in case 4 for more than two seconds. lol

I actually liked that she didn't show up that much in-game. Nothing against the character, I just liked how they put the story ahead of following series tradition.
No, I seriously don't have anything else to put here besides a link that gets me rewards when people click on it.
If you like video game music, it might actually be worth your while.
