According to this fanmade "CIA Factbook" entry, Cohdopia is to be located in the Mediterranean, which was my original guess. While searching I did not find any legitimate information regarding a real Cohdopia, but this came up instead. Ah well.
Ehh, not quite. Cohdopia split due to internal conflicts (in this case, a "right to rule" conflict), while Germany split due to outside influences.
EDIT: I just found out that Percei made the fake entry, and did quite a good job on it.

Nope. I saw that as well but that's not it. Cohdopia is an uninhabited island in Oceania it's tiny and dosen't appear on most maps. I only remember it from Geography classes.
