Maybe we'd be fortunate enough to have a... flashback case? ...where you go up against a Diego Armando? and lose? We can't actually go against Mia in a flashback case as it is established in GS3 that they only meet in court once.
You know what would amuse the HELL out of me in court, though? If Gumshoe was acutally taking the part of Maya/Pearl/Grossberg/Trucy and standing next to you all the time. XD

Though, with such a short time frame (5 months at the most, if they run it up to 1-4, only 3 if they stop at 1-3), Edgeworth can't take too many cases. Plus, this game doesn't seem to have taken as long to develop as the other DS-intended AA games, so there's no telling how long it is, how in dept it will be... or is it just a fanserve tide-over until GS5?

Joe Darke was scentenced to death after Neil's death. At the time, he was accused of Neil's death. Gant's involvement in the whole thing wasn't discovered till 2 years later.
Though as cool as it would be to go through SL-9 as it unfolded, this game will fit into the PW:AA timeline, and SL-9 took place 2 years before the game itself ever began.
