Is it at all possible for the Mafia to voluntarily not kill anyone during the night? I haven't seen anything of the sort, and it's an odd move for sure, but something's keeping them from killing. There should be two townies dead at night, not just one.

For instance, I'll give another clue. What would be helpful to the Mafia if they used it over and over again?
@GO: If they can use it over and over, it's for a reason. Figure that out and you are getting close. While a reusable HP may not be powerful...if they kept using it, it certainly means something.

A lot of this game really is balanced. Higher risks result in higher rewards.
If an item can be recycled, that would mean its use is not something incredibly devastating if used once. After all, the inverse of the above is true. Not losing the item means lower risk means lower rewards.
But it is something to take note of. Especially since it's possible to make some good guesses about what Hidden Powers are if you think about what the role of the Evidence is in the game.
Actually, if you consider these two things together - the balance of risk and reward, the connections to the game itself - it's possible to start making guesses about nearly every Special Evidence in this game, save perhaps the Generics.

With every post I become more sure that this has something to do with Atmey's names list. It can be updated by being sent to people, and it reveals current Mafians; this includes revealed Amnesiacs. Knowledge of everyone is key.
