Soooo, long time AA fan, but this is my first time joining any kind of fan board/forum for it. Kind of nervous, kind of excited...

Not much to tell other than that I spend most of my time masquerading as a competent adult, and use the money I earn from said adult-ing to indulge in video games and baseball games. I also really like to write in my spare time - sometimes that writing ends up being AA fanfic, and sometimes it ends up being original stuff or fanfic from other fandoms. I just have a huge tendency to come up with fifty different ideas or plots and finish maybe two of them.

As my username might hint, I'm a big fan of the Rise From the Ashes case - it's what really cemented my love for AA when I first started playing the games several years ago. I'm actually in the midst of replaying it again for like the twelfth time because a friend of mine is playing it for the first time.

I am more than happy to discuss this case - OR ANY! - with any other members...I've very few friends who are into AA as much as I am (if at all) and the more the merrier, or something like that.

Welcome to CR! I loved the Rise From The Ashes case! Loved the characters, loved the plot, loved EVERYTHING about it! Lana and Ema are so adorable. And I thought your username was rather creative. I thought, "This dude's gotta be a Jake Marshall fan. I just know it."

Ah, thanks for the welcome! (and the creepy Gant smiley xD) And you would be correct, I am a big fan of Jake (and Neil). Really, most of the RFTA cast shows up in my Top 10 list, if I were to name my fave characters from the series (Ema being #1! )

And yeah, I do have a fic up on ff.net - although the most recently revised version is up on ao3 (just spelling, punctuation, etc, nothing different). I will take you up on the offer to talk about RFTA soon, and PM you about that as well as a link to my fic! (I don't want to just promo it on the welcome board like some kind of braggart. x3)
