Does my sig look big in this?
It's just... those darn seizures!

Post subject:  Re: Rules

Okay...this sig is just under the maximum height...

NO MORE WIPING, PLZ.

And also...your definition of "spoiler" was kind of vague.

NO MORE WHINING AFTER YOU'VE BROKEN THE RULES, PLZ.

BTW text counts as part of the sig size as well, so your sig is still too big.

If it's under a "spoiler" tag on the main site, it doesn't belong in your avatar or sig.

I worked hard on this picture...

EDIT: Okay, I removed the text under it. Am I safe now?

As a reminder:

DO NOT POST JFA SPOILERS IN YOUR AVATARS AND SIGS. It's been out for a few months now but STILL, do not put breakdown animations in plain sight. It's rude.

What about these: Head Bang Beef April May Redd's White

Post subject:  Re: Rules

Oh come on, they're tiny smilies!

Besides, those are all from PW:AA, not JFA, except for Beef, which is just awesome and adorable anyway. A single "eep" frame is not the same as WHOA 2-4 VILLAIN all over your avatar.

Post subject:  Re: Rules

NEW RULE, BECAUSE IT'S ANNOYING ME.

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE SPOILER TAGS IN YOUR SIGS.

People are using them as an excuse to exceed the sig limiations or avoid the spoiler rules. This is not an acceptable use of the spoiler tag. It's not just a matter of size, it's a matter of having to load the images. Take the spoiler tags out of your signatures.

Thank you~

I'm a little confuzzled about the 'No Hotlinking' rule. Seeing as my avatar is hosted on a dfferent site, is it okay to have this avatar?

...ook ook.

Post subject:  Re: Rules

If you upload your avatar, that's fine. But for signatures you have to host the images on your own server.

Are "safe" Gyakuten Saiban 4 sprites okay to use as avatars?

Specifically this:

If it's on the safe sprite page, you're good. That animation was on the safe sprite page. You're good.

Yeah... cant think of anywhere else to ask this question...but you know that exclamation mark thing( suspect, desk jockey, medium in training, ace attorney, prosecutor, etc.) What does it mean, and how do you change it? If this is the wrong place to ask, just tell me.( frightened of invoking someone's wrath :payne:)

No, you can't change it. And it's basically just a title that raises as you get more posts. It's not really important.

Well, making useless posts like that won't help.

how do i use the spoiler tags conveniently. They always pop up at the end of the post if you click on them.

Highlight what you want spoiled and then press the spoiler tag.

What happened to te debate thread?! It's locked.

Author:  ParrotMan01 [ Sun Nov 18, 2007 6:15 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Rules

I think I have an idea why it was locked.
The entire thread was filled with misplaced topics, boring debates and worst of all spam. Recently there have been new people putting topics in the thread that have no place being there. I've also noticed that most of the topics in there are locked.

Anyway just to be safe, I must ask:

(a) Is my av & sig permissible now?
(b) Is it allowed to use Evil Matt as av/sig?
(c) Is it allowed to put [flash=... in the sig?

That's all I need to know.
Thank you.

(a) I don't particularly like scrolling sigs, but it's not breaking the rules. You're fine.
(b) JFA has been out long enough that CR does not consider most of its content as spoiler-worthy. Villain and breakdown sprites are allowed in avatars and sigs. T&T villain and breakdown sprites are still spoilers, though, as well as most of GS4's sprites.
(c) No.

Hmmm...so topics like the show your love topic aren't allowed because there is a good chance of haters coming in and making people angry or sad enough to start arguments?

Author:  Croik [ Tue Dec 11, 2007 4:08 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Rules

Well mostly they're not allowed because they're kind of pointless :P. I'm glad you guys like each other, but this isn't the place for it. If you think someone is THAT awesome, just PM them. Big "love" topics just turn into cliques of people patting each other on the back (and, yeah, they invite snarkiness).
