No Miracle Mask at E3?

Quite recently was E3. Usually, before this time, a new Professor Layton trademark would be leaked right before the show as seen here. However, E3 2012 has since come and gone without any mention of Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.

So what happened to the game's announcement? Will it be shown later in the year, or will it release in 2013 altogether? A perplexing situation indeed. :think-pw:

Level-5 world would make sense... If this were a Japanese announcement we're waiting on. My money is on a Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo was being sort of weird this E3 with the 3DS; Fire Emblem didn't get a US announcement, but Reggie Fils-Aime casually confirmed it to some journalists after the presentation.

We'll probably hear something in the coming months.

Maybe, though I believe it was more a matter of Nintendo 110% focused on Wii U this year.
The number of 3DS games playable on the show was really small, just like the Nintendo Conference. Guess Layton's small fry compared to a brand new console... or simply that Layton doesn't really need to be shown at E3 to sell, since it has quite the casual audience.

But Layton 3DS will be released in October/November in Europe and the US, you can be 100% sure about that :phoenix:
