Hey. Hey. Lida. We need to discuss who's living together. Are Fel and Lily sharing a dorm? Fel, Lily AND Natalie? Natalie and Fel? idk. We need to figure out who's dorming alone, who's dorming with others, etc.

For instance, Chris is in a dorm by himself. So's Phoenix. (Though Larry probably uses it as a lounging pad.)

Oh, we could totally have Natalie, Lily, and Felicia all in the same dorm! I'm sure Felicia wouldn't request a room to herself. In fact, I think it would be good development for her if she was afraid to be alone now. But, it's up to you two if you want your charries to be in one dorm with her. If not, it's totally cool. :)

Dahlia and Iris probably live off-campus. That's what I'd imagine for their schemes to work.

Well, for certain things to work, I think I want Lily to live alone. However, she could be next to Natalie and Felicia's dorm. That way they can still converse regularly. (Trust me, you wouldn't want to live in Lily's dorm. Notepads. EVERYWHERE.)

Emily does share a room with someone, but has never met them as she has a habit of never going in there. She has everything she needs on her person, tends to sleep wherever she passes out after being awake for more than 24 hours at a time, and if she needs anything she buys it from the school store or cafeteria.

Emily's stuff is in the room though. Her bed, her clothes, a few filled sketch pads, and other various things one would have. None of them have been touched since they were moved in.

Name: Jay Slezak
Age: 22
Major: Computer Science, plus a minor in Music
Appearance: Jay is white, average height, average weight, medium-length wavy black hair, hazel eyes, clean-shaven, wears a blue shirt, denim jeans, black shoes, and a black belt with a small bag clipped onto it which he holds small items in. He totes around a blue rolling backpack to carry his books and school items which won't fit in the clip-on bag. He wears a silver bracelet dotted with subtly-glowing blue gems on his left wrist. He carries a green magatama in his clip-on bag (and occasionally wears it around his neck) which he got from a friend on one of his adventures. He doesn't know about "psycho-locks" though, at least not yet. Also in the clip-on bag are some notepads, pencils, and a camera, among other random things.
Personality: Rather outgoing, very polite, loves meeting new people and making friends. He likes music and video games and music video games. He also loves computers, which is why he chose Computer Science as a major. He has no real hatred or dislikes for anything one wouldn't normally dislike (bullying, doing harm to others, etc.). He is usually casual and humorous in conversation but can get very serious when he feels the need to. He is the more reserved one of the duo. Occasionally, Jay also gets very philosophical, which sometimes puts people off. Very rarely makes an off-the-(4th)-wall comment which usually sails right over people's heads. His past as a detective also makes him curious and he loves investigating things he can't explain, such as paranormal and supernatural happenings. Is extremely close to his brother, Jeremy, to the point where they have a sort of mental link.
History: Jay doesn't remember much of his past before a few years before the present. He sort of just remembers waking up one day and becoming a freelance detective. He has been on many adventures with his brother, Jeremy. The brothers are always looking to expand their horizons, so one day they randomly decided to attend college. Of course they both picked the same majors and requested a double room for the two of them to bunk in.
Other: He loves music. So much so, he wishes he could create it whenever he wanted rather than having to use an instrument. He also likes to keep records of things, so he will take out his trusty detective's notepad now and then to record information.

Age: 26

Appearance: Jeremy is also white, a bit taller than his brother, and a bit thinner, has shoulder-length almost-glowing blonde hair, green eyes, usually wears a green shirt and green denim (custom-ordered, of course) jeans, black shoes, and a black belt also with a clip-on bag for carrying small items. The rolling backpack Jeremy totes around is green. Jeremy wears a bracelet just like Jay's on his left wrist. Jeremy's clip-on bag holds some notepads, pencils, and a camera, along with some other not-really-important stuff.
Personality: Extremely outgoing, quite polite, loves meeting new people and making friends. Jeremy likes music, video games, and music video games. He is a little bit more into computers than Jay is. Like Jay, Jeremy doesn't really dislike anything abnormal. Jeremy tries to be encouraging and positive with every comment he makes and doesn't get serious as often as Jay does, but when he does see his brother tense up, Jeremy tones down his usually-perky nature, but tries to stay positive at all times. Like Jay, Jeremy may make an out-of-nowhere comment from time to time, but most people usually pass it off as one of Jeremy's strange jokes. Jeremy is also a bit more curious and impulsive than Jay. He tries his best to stay out of trouble though. That is, of course, unless trouble finds him, which it tends to do. He says it wouldn't be an exciting adventure without it. Heh, that's Jeremy for you.
History: Jeremy also seemed to wake up one day, but he was a teacher at first. His teaching methods were often out-of-the-norm, but effective. Unfortunately for him, schools don't like teachers doing innovative things, so he lost his teaching job... at least, that's what the papers said. He quickly joined up with his brother after a chance meeting at the high school Jeremy was working for. How did Jay know to come to that school? You'll have to ask him. Now, Jeremy is very rarely seen without his brother, which naturally means he was more than eager to join Jay at college. His teaching certificate was fine, but he wanted an occupation where his more eccentric and innovative nature would be more welcomed.
Other: Not really much else to say. Jeremy is a bit more artistic and can sometimes be seen drawing on his notepad. He also keeps lots of records and notes there, just like Jay does.

Okay guys, sorry for the double post but we have a bit of an issue here.

Also before I move on, I must ask for NO FURTHER NEW PLAYER REQUESTS. New characters are okay, but let's try to avoid stacking the character count any higher than it already is.

Why? Because we haven't made any major progress except with the canon characters. And a few of the OCs. A lot of others have either been ignored or otherwise left to do mundane things while wait for their characters to be interacted with.

By the way, Franzika and H4RDMEISTER are now MIA. Both will have a week to respond in the game before they are removed. I will contact both of them before this happens.

Please, guys, let's try and work things out to where nobody's left behind. I know I'm not innocent on this front either, but let's all work together. This is becoming a bit of a jumbled mess. Also, nobody seems to be using Lida's advice on adding date and time to new situations (not every reply, mind you).

What's MIA?

Missing In Action. That's a pretty important acronym to learn.

It basically means we don't know where the hey you are, whether we see you or not. XD

If you stay MIA too long, you get booted from the roleplay. S'how it is. I generally give a week or a little less before I call someone MIA and then they get a week from that point.

Well if there is any character where it's completely okay for her to be left behind it's Emily. If she got any social interaction it will be completely one sided most of the time. She does have a brother that I'll introduce when the time is right that can do all the backstory exposition for her. d:

If anyone does interact with one of my characters it'd be nice if they post their name in it. Even if you don't know it in character, just put it in parenthesis "We saw a quiet brunette in a beret (Emily) drawing." That way when I scan posts I'll see it and know to read that one.

There was one RP I was in where if someone mentioned someone else's character in their post for the first time they colored the name so the player would see it very quickly. However, CR has a wide range of themes you can apply to the forum, so not everyone can know what the default color of anyone's text is, if we do that we'll need to be creative.

And a proposal to let everyone know where everyone is.

Funnily enough, October 1st, 2012 IS a Monday. So we'll use that.

Though I would make a note whether characters are able to interrupt the scene or not, or add to it before it begins. That way people don't get upset over someone else coming in and messing up a scene, or that someone didn't notify them that they can't. Basically, whether the scene is open or closed.
