We make our own, not knowing how much we influence another's story.
And how much they influence ours.

The memories are the ties that bind, and all stories are one.

The stars dull, the moon is swallowed again by the ocean.

The eyes watch.

The people on every plane that has ever existed live on.

The hands mold.

The hero's story ends, The villain admits defeat.

The ears listen.

The dead are put to rest, the newborns cry.

Silence


12:21 PM
*Crack*

Mirrors on every plane, on every dimension, in every story.
Breaks.

The heroes pay no mind, The villains remain silent, The dead stay dead, the newborns still cry.

3:02 PM

A flock of snow white doves flies over every sky.

3:20 PM
A roar is heard in all dimensions, the sky itself shatters.
The Earth trembled, it's oceans and mountains bowed.
The wind itself rejoiced, for the hour had come.

Judgment

For that brief moment, if you looked up you could see stars even during the day.

From the stars came a pale light, a small strand trailing from each of them.
The strands twisted together, and formed a mighty coil of light
The light twisted tighter and tighter, all the while coming to the Earth

The stars decayed, until there was only the sun and the moon to give light to all the universe.

The pale cord gained form, and this form was of a giant serpent.
A serpent that consumed the light, but was light itself.
It slithered through the void, and found itself upon the last star; Sol
It wound it's leviathan body among the planets, 37 times each.
It made it's way to the Earth and the people grew fearful.


It wrapped itself upon the Earth, a great 37 times
And each time it's face was seen, the people wailed, for they knew.
In their heart of hearts, the small spark that they called a soul cowered in it's presence.


When the serpent stopped, it's face molded to that of a dragon.
Spikes formed along the back of the serpent, and in each of it's scales a star shone.
A burning figure stood on the Beast's head, female in form, and intense purple in color
The beast sprung ten horns from it's head and stabbed into the woman, keeping her in place.

It's mouth moved, and in each heart, the soul within spoke;



"I... Am... The End!
The Sovereign of Solace!
I am Oblivion,
The Beast of Nothing.
I am Reaper of Lords.
The Absolute Death.
I am the Silence of the Void.
I am Ragnarök.
I am thy Kingdom Come."

It paused for a moment, and continued.


"I was given form by myself, for myself.
I have dominion over all that is, was, or ever will be."

With each word their souls shook, and they listened.


"I will choose nine champions, To usher in the new universe.
They will create as I have created, and when the last day comes... Destroy as I must do.

You are given 100 days to think
To make amends,
To accept the end.
Come the last day I will take back what I have given abundantly.
All but nine of you will be with me in oblivion."

The dragon paused for a moment, and the woman who stood on the beast raised her hands outwards with her palms up and began to speak

"Courage;
To not fear the end, to go boldly into the new world"

As she finished, a horn erupted from the Beast's head, stabbing into her right hand

She continued speaking.


"Faith;
To put all that you are into what you believe in, to know without doubt that your actions shape the new world for the better."

A second horn rises and stabs through her other hand

"Wisdom;
To know all that life can teach you, to know more than what you've heard. To teach others so that them may know more than you will ever know"
A third horn erupts from where her right foot was on the Beast's back

"Loyalty;
To undoubtedly serve the new world's interests, to do the most good. "

A fourth horn impales her other foot.

"Memory;
To carry the memory of those lost, to remember the woes of a time before.
To give their lives meaning."

A fifth horn rises and impales the underside of her right shoulder

"Humility;
To look beyond the self and see the whole"

A sixth horn impales the underside of her left shoulder

"Tenacity;
To not give up, to never falter in face of adversity."

The seventh horn rises and impales the back of her head, the horn comes out of her right eye

"Justice;
To see beyond the simple to discern the complex, to champion what is right for the New World."
The eighth horn rises and impales the back of her head also, making the horn come from her left eye

"Silence;

To dwell within, to see without sight, to know without knowing"

The last horn lurches forward and stabs through the woman's forehead, silencing her forever.


The dragon coiled tighter around the Earth, pulling together all the Earths in each dimension.

The Earths combined, until there was only one.

A single Earth, in all of eternity.


With that, the Beast with Nine Names uncoiled from the Earth and all it's neighboring planets.
It circled them rapidly, it's scales blurring into what was once the night sky.

Kingdom Come is an RP about the end.
The end of all stories, the end of all truths and falsehoods.
From this point on, no new entity will be created.
You can only use characters from stories that were never "finished"
These can be characters from your own works, or characters from popular works.
Any character submitted will need to include the main antagonist from that character's story.

The Antagonist can be controlled by the GM or yourself, the choice is yours.



Rules:
1. You cannot have characters from ongoing series, "Ongoing" meaning that if a new canonical work has been released for that character within the last 2 years they cannot be used.
2. Characters who are "Dead" in their respective cannon cannot be used (Notes: "Dead" meaning that they could no longer interact with their world canonically Example: Sissel isn't truly "Dead" in his game)
3. Customizable characters from games are allowed, but only 1 person can be the main character of that story (Example: Anyone can be the Vault Dweller from Fallout but there can only be ONE vault dweller)
4. Characters from "unfinished" works are preferred (Examples: Gordon Freeman from Half Life, Domasi Tawodi AKA "Tommy" from Prey, Samurai Jack,)
5. Original Characters need to have appeared in some other form before being accepted here, and all other rules still apply to them.
6. Just because your character may be more powerful than another person's doesn't mean you can fight their battles for them
7. There will be Nine main characters, if less than nine people are rping at any time then the remaining rp players will either control the previously created characters, or the ones left behind will be killed off/have their story finished
8. If their is a surplus of players, only 9 characters can be a part of the "main story" Side stories are allowed but ONLY if they can fit in with the current arc, new players characters take priority over other player's second characters.
9. When a character dies, that's it, there is no revival in this RP, but don't be afraid to kill off a character if you think they've gone the distance
10. Each of the main nine players will dictate the current events of the chapter dedicated to them, if they fail to continue the story, or die, someone else will come in to finish their own story.
11. There will be 10 chapters, The GM will control the first and last, but the other chapters are up to the other players.

I'll put the characters here



Spoiler: "GOOD GUYS"
Name: Ubrig
Age: too old to remember
Original Story: Doomsday RP
Appearance: Is an angel, Wears golden armor with red rubies on the knuckles of his gauntlets. Hair is completely missing from his head except for eyelashes and eyebrows. Has deep wrinkles
Abilities/Powers: The ability to control the "essence" of blood, false blood cannot be manipulated. He can alter the form and composition of the blood at will, such as focusing all the iron in one's blood into a central point.
He needs to be touching the blood with his physical body in order to control it with perfect control, his control is entirely mental but physical contact is REQUIRED.

As the Angel of Pain, Ubrig gains power by being recognized, for every human in pain Ubrig gains strength.
He has the power to dull the pain of the people, and even heal them.

Has a sword that can shatter into hundreds of shards, and can be manipulated his will alone.

Also, he has 8 Philosopher's stones on his gauntlets.
These enable him to alter elements at their base level.

Has a crippling weakness to radiation.

Bio: The Angel of Pain, slayer of angels, demons, and gods. Ubrig is the angelic form of Adam, the first human.
He made a deal to spare his wife from hell, in exchange, he lost his ability to be with her or any of his children.
Ubrig will never see his wife in the Silver City
Background: When the man named Adam died, Ubrig was created. Ubrig had a sole mission in his never ending quest;
To smite the wicked.
Ubrig was tasked with slaying any angel that turned from the light of "The Presence".

Virtue: Silence

Name: Walt Biggerstaff

Age: 25

Original Story: Doomsday RP

Appearance: With his blond hair, golden eyes, skinniness, and paleness, Walt looks far more frail than he actually is. He's average height and wears a stolen guard outfit, though it's covered in so much dirt and torn in so many places, no one can tell that that's what the uniform once was. He is never seen without his staff and gun blade.

Abilities/Powers: Magic - he can cast spells, and he's advanced enough to cast them without speaking. However, every spell requires energy to use. If he uses too much magic in too short an amount of time, he'll die.

Telepathy/Mind Breach - He can communicate with people telepathically if they know how to communicate with him and allow it. He also knows how to enter someone else's mind, provided he makes physical contact and concentrates hard enough to break through the mind's barriers. Note that this takes a lot of energy, and takes a toll on Walt's psyche.

Mind Block - He can put up mental barriers to block telecommunication or mind control. However, this is a skill in which he is not highly adept. Someone more skilled than he can easily overcome these barriers. Note that if his barriers are broken, it damages his psyche.

Bio: Walt is very protective. He tries to do everything on his own and solve all problems with his magic. He tries not to take any lives for fear of damaging his psyche and reverting to a state of insanity. He tends to blame himself for things that are not his fault. His travels have made him cautious and paranoid.

Background: Walt was born with magic, but he couldn't control it. He became a soldier to make enough income to care for his sickly sister, now passed, where he was issued his gun blade and staff. He never needed his gun blade, though, as he learned quickly how to slaughter thousands of people with one spell. He was taught to control his magic by the very best mage in the army. After a mage from the opposing side broke Walt's mind block and made him slaughter his own allies, Walt deserted, a crime in itself.

Abilities/Powers: A Master of Earth Psynergy (a form of Alchemy) enables Isaac to create devastating Earthquakes, summon spires of rock to do his bidding and manifest giant blades to cleave the foe. There are other supportive and utility aspects of Earth psynergy such as some potent healing powers and minor Telekinesis abilities to lift and move objects. Isaac is also an expert swordsman from his many travels and is knowledgeable about many aspects of Alchemy from his studies into the subject. While nearing 50, as one of the witnesses of the Golden Sun event he seems to be bestowed with dramatically reduced effects of ageing.

Bio: Isaac is a calm and wise individual. Hardened and experienced from his many years questing and studying alchemy with his friends. Isaac can tire of problematic attitudes but is dedicated and will see things through to the end, never failing to be there to help a friend out in times of needs. Isaac favours a more hands-on way of doing things, taking his son out to train with the sword and even sending him out into the world on an adventure in the hopes it'll prove as enlightening to him as Isaac's own adventures did.

Background:As a child Isaac was raised in the village of Vale. A village that harbours the secret of alchemy and adepts protect it. Another adept named Felix and his companions forced Isaac and his friends to steal the elemental stones from the temple of Sol Sanctum in Vale. Felix and his companions set off to light the four elemental lighthouses with the stones, a path that will inevitably lead to the world's destruction when the power of Alchemy is released upon the world of Weyard. The village elder tasks Isaac and his friends to pursue Felix and his companions (as they were partially responsible) and prevent the Lighthouses from being lit.

During his quest Isaac met many new friends along the way and learned many truths about the world, eventually teaming up with Felix to light the Lighthouses as restoring Alchemy to the world is the only way to save it even if it comes with great risks. When the power of Alchemy is released the Golden Sun rises and destroys the village of Vale as the volcano Mount Aleph erupts.

Thirty Years later Isaac has married his friend and Felix's sister Jenna and had a son Matthew with her. On the remains of Vale he built a cottage where he studies the effects of the Golden Sun by Mount Aleph with his friend and battle-companion Garet. As one of the Adepts who brought about the Golden Sun, he is both loved and hated in parts of the world for restoring Alchemy and all it's consequences to it.

Thinking it was time for his son to experience adventure, Isaac set Matthew the task of getting a Roc's feather to repair a soarwing thus starting Matthew on his quest in Dark Dawn. However shortly after Matthew left Mount Aleph, Garet and Isaac disappeared, and when Matthew returns a large Psynergy Vortex, a phenomenon that drains the elemental energy from the world, has sprung up near Isaac's cottage...

Appearance: Dark hair that goes down to his shoulders. Black eyes that reflect no light. Wears a tattered brown cloak that covers his jet black armor.
Has a young face, with pale skin.
Abilities/Powers: Has the abilities of two angels, Echos and Hatred (will add more to this later)
Bio: The Angel of Hatred, he was not born from a mother, but was created by a man trying to remove all that unholy about him, so he could be "pure" when creating a false woman he fell in love with,

Zalost has the memories of a small child who died in the streets alone

He had one friend during this time, who died before he did.
Background: Zalost is the Angelic form of the dark side of an unnamed alchemist, he was born to be hated and to hate, but in time his torn soul healed and created a new distinct person

Appearance: Pandora is a tall, imposing woman with red hair that falls to the small of her back and green eyes. She wears black robes and doesn't carry anything with her.

Abilities/Powers: Magic - She has a lot of magic in her and can use even the most advanced spells with ease.

Mind Breach/Telepathy - She can shatter the mind's defenses in a matter of seconds, and can even do so from a distance, though she prefers to be up close.

Mind Block - Her mental defenses are strong and cannot be breached except by those very advanced.

Magic Cancellation - the ability to block spells from being used and levied toward her by infiltrating the opponent's mind before they can finish the spell. This interrupts thoughts and breaks focus, and this is the field in which she's particularly advanced.

Bio: Pandora is a very patient, calm woman who doesn't let anything bother her. However, she emits an intimidating aura and can be mercilessly blunt. Nothing seems to escape her notice.

Background: Pandora is the one who trains the mages for the military. Most of her students, regrettably, either die or go insane. It seemed like a personal betrayal to her when Walt deserted, Pandora having been the one to train him. Her task is to make Walt pay for his crimes, and pay he shall, for Pandora has never not completed a task in all her centuries of life.

Abilities/Powers: (Note: Alex rarely fights and at his last appearance, had presumably required more power as yet unseen so this might be vague). Self-Levitation. Summoning powerful geysers that can launch humans into the air. Teleporting himself and others alongside him. Great Healing Psynergy. Remaining invisible for periods of time. Nearly Limitless life and vast elemental powers having absorbed most of the power of the Golden Sun. A vast knowledge of alchemy.
Bio: Perpetually seeking greater power Alex is a charismatic and charming individual. Never looking to truly establish himself on one-side or the other Alex is ever a pragmatist and will back whatever side he thinks will further his goals for the meantime (to the point where he would heal his enemies fighting his allies if he felt they would accomplish his goals better). Alex is cunning and manipulative but always bears his main search for power in mind and knows the importance of allies. Not especially fond of fighting himself Alex prefers not to get involved himself but will support his allies how he can without getting directly involved in combat.
Background: Alex teamed up with Felix and his companions in the quest to light the four elemental lighthouses. Mindful of the Legend that the Golden Sun would provide eternal life and limitless power, Alex seeks to awaken it and claim the power for himself. Forcing Isaac and his friends to steal the Elemental Stones from Mount Aleph, Alex and his companions leave to light the Elemental Lighthouses although Isaac manages to keep the Mars Elemental Stone.

Alex's group is somewhat disbanded after Isaac and co kill two of Alex's companions, Saturos and Menardi, while the others end up washed across the sea. Alex then goes on his own investigation into the Lighthouses, finding new allies to help him in his quest. Meeting up with his old ally Felix and Felix's new group Alex gives Felix his blessing to light the Lighthouses and sets off for Mount Aleph where it is fabled the Golden Sun will rise.

As Felix and Isaac light the last Lighthouse, the Golden Sun rises and channels it's power into Mount Aleph where Alex is standing waiting. Feeling the power flowing through him Alex attempts to destroy Vale in a test of his newfound power. However the Wise One, a being that governs Mt Aleph and all Psynergy, appears and explains that Alex is not all-powerful. While Alex held 3 of the elemental stones when the Golden Sun was awoken, the power of Fire and Mars was imbued into Isaac by the Wise One who had anticipated Alex's plan. Thus Alex is not the all-powerful deity he thought he would become and the Wise One crushes him into the mountain. The mountain began to collapse as Alchemy's power was released across the land but Alex, crippled from the Wise Ones power seemed unable to move.

Years later, a strange masked figure strongly resembling Alex has appeared and allied himself with Tuaparang, a nation of unrivalled science and military power. Going by the name of Arcanus, this strange figure's motives are currently unknown.

Direly hoping this gets attention. I'm not at a computer and I'd like to write a more detailed write up of a character later on with an actual keyboard.

I claim Isaac from Golden Sun Dark Dawn. Disappeared at the end of the game in a cliffhanger so an incomplete tale.

Gah two characters from the same RP XP I'll feel out of place.

Well it was supposedly quite the legendary RP from the snippets I've heard.

On the remains of Vale he built a cottage where he studies the effects of the Golden Sun by Mount Aleph with his friend and battle-companion Garet. As one of the Adepts who brought about the Golden Sun, he is both loved and hated in parts of the world for restoring Alchemy and all it's consequences to it.

Thinking it was time for his son to experience adventure, Isaac set Matthew the task of getting a Roc's feather to repair a soarwing thus starting Matthew on his quest in Dark Dawn. However shortly after Matthew left Mount Aleph, Garet and Isaac disappeared, and when Matthew returns a large Psynergy Vortex, a phenomenon that drains the elemental energy from the world, has sprung up near Isaac's cottage...

Abilities/Powers: (Note: Alex rarely fights and at his last appearance, had presumably required more power as yet unseen so this might be vague). Self-Levitation. Summoning powerful geysers that can launch humans into the air. Teleporting himself and others alongside him. Great Healing Psynergy. Remaining invisible for periods of time. Nearly Limitless life and vast elemental powers having absorbed most of the power of the Golden Sun. A vast knowledge of alchemy.
Bio: Perpetually seeking greater power Alex is a charismatic and charming individual. Never looking to truly establish himself on one-side or the other Alex is ever a pragmatist and will back whatever side he thinks will further his goals for the meantime (to the point where he would heal his enemies fighting his allies if he felt they would accomplish his goals better). Alex is cunning and manipulative but always bears his main search for power in mind and knows the importance of allies. Not especially fond of fighting himself Alex prefers not to get involved himself but will support his allies how he can without getting directly involved in combat.

Alex teamed up with Felix and his companions in the quest to light the four elemental lighthouses. Mindful of the Legend that the Golden Sun would provide eternal life and limitless power, Alex seeks to awaken it and claim the power for himself. Forcing Isaac and his friends to steal the Elemental Stones from Mount Aleph, Alex and his companions leave to light the Elemental Lighthouses although Isaac manages to keep the Mars Elemental Stone.

Alex's group is somewhat disbanded after Isaac and co kill two of Alex's companions, Saturos and Menardi, while the others end up washed across the sea. Alex then goes on his own investigation into the Lighthouses, finding new allies to help him in his quest. Meeting up with his old ally Felix and Felix's new group Alex gives Felix his blessing to light the Lighthouses and sets off for Mount Aleph where it is fabled the Golden Sun will rise.

As Felix and Isaac light the last Lighthouse, the Golden Sun rises and channels it's power into Mount Aleph where Alex is standing waiting. Feeling the power flowing through him Alex attempts to destroy Vale in a test of his newfound power. However the Wise One, a being that governs Mt Aleph and all Psynergy, appears and explains that Alex is not all-powerful. While Alex held 3 of the elemental stones when the Golden Sun was awoken, the power of Fire and Mars was imbued into Isaac by the Wise One who had anticipated Alex's plan. Thus Alex is not the all-powerful deity he thought he would become and the Wise One crushes him into the mountain. The mountain began to collapse as Alchemy's power was released across the land but Alex, crippled from the Wise Ones power seemed unable to move.

Years later, a strange masked figure strongly resembling Alex has appeared and allied himself with Tuaparang, a nation of unrivalled science and military power. Going by the name of Arcanus, this strange figure's motives are currently unknown.

Is there a necessary genre for characters, or can they be from any work? The only "unfinished" OC I have is from a Zelda fic I started last year then took down.

Actually the character doesn't need to be an OC, the only characters NOT accepted are ones from ongoing stories.

Because only lame people need to play popular characters in an RP
It can be from any genre, and ANY character that still has room for growth.

Age: unknown, seemingly in her 20s

Original Story: Portal, Portal 2

Appearance: Her black hair is tied back, accentuating her high cheekbones and pale eyes. She wears a standard-issue white Aperture Science tank top over a longer, light blue one, and stands out in the orange jumpsuit, whose sleeves she has wrapped around her waist. Her long fall boots are also of note, protecting both her and the portal gun she wears on her right hand from any damage during her countless jumps and falls.

Abilities/Powers: Other than being abnormally stubborn and having refined puzzle-solving skills, Chell possesses no extraordinary abilities. She does, however, wield the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device, which can be used to create two linked portals. Any object which passes through one portal will instantaneously emerge through the other, maintaining its momentum. Portals can be created on any light-colored flat surface, including the moon. Chell also wears long fall boots, which prevents fall damage up to and beyond the wearer's terminal velocity.

Bio: Not much is known about Chell outside of her psychological test results, which record her tenacity in the top 99th percentile. Then again, she hasn't come in human contact for most of her known existence, her only robotic colleagues describing her as a mentally-impaired mute with murderous intent. Observations from security cameras within Aperture Laboratories (at least, those she hasn't shot down) reveal her to be highly resourceful, quick-thinking, and calm in the face of adversity.

Background: Chell was the child of an Aperture scientist, and participated in the science project exhibit of the facility's Bring Your Daughter To Work Day. Her application as an Aperture Science Test Subject was rejected on the basis of her tenacity, but was hacked into first place in the testing order by a surviving scientist. After multiple attempts to destroy any artificial intelligence supervising the facility and seeking to kill her, Chell was finally set free, along with the Weighted Companion Cube, to live out her life in whatever remained of the outside world.

Abilities/Powers: As overseer of the Aperture Science Enrichment Center, GLaDOS is able to manipulate facilities to her desire, typically to create rooms for testing. She is also known to favor the use of neurotoxin.

Bio: She possesses no morality, and a dry, sadistic sense of humor. She has a passive-aggressive approach to conversation, undermining and manipulating subjects without expressing direct emotion. Her one passion is the pursuit of science, which is the fundamental purpose of her existence.

Background: The first iteration of the Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System was constructed in 1986 in order to operate the Enrichment Center Test Subject Application Process. The CEO of Aperture Science left instructions before his death that his assistant Caroline be uploaded as the Genetic Lifeform component of the OS. Activation of GLaDOS revealed its murderous tendencies, leading to the construction of a morality core. Reactivation of GLaDOS resulted in the lockdown of the facility, its flooding with neurotoxin, and the beginning of the permanent testing cycle of the portal device, which was ended by a certain test subject known only as Chell.
