- Apollo has lately been going home early, and Athena thinks he has a girlfriend, but some 'subtle' questioning by Trucy reveal that he is taking care of a cat he found (and.... this will probably turn out to be important later in the case). And Trucy makes it very, very clear she thinks it would be strange, nay, almost impossible for Apollo to have girlfriend.
- Trucy is asked to perform for a circus, which specializes in strange and rare animals (and according to the rumors, maybe even youkai). She is to do a disappearing act with Michelangelo, the mascot tortoise shell cat. Phoenix thinks Michelangelo is male tortoise shell cat, which are very rare.
- The disappearing act goes well; the reappearing not so. The head of the circus accuses Trucy of stealing Michelangelo (saying he's a male tortoise shell cat and thus worth a fortune). Fulbright wants to hear more about how the trick was supposed to go, but Trucy refuses to talk, saying she did it.
