Feeling mixed on the episode. The part about Rick being there made sense, but Phoenix seemed like he was reaching (okay, so that's not exactly new). While the part about the train cars switching didn't exactly come out of nowhere, I felt like it could have been handled better. It's true we heard the birthday music and I suppose we were to assume a cake was brought out then (despite Maya's vague "show" comment), but we didn't get to see the fire actually happen in real time.

Highlights: Edgeworth jumping in to confront the culprit, Gumshoe playing Mr. Engineer, Maya using the condensation on the window to draw Phoenix's face.

3-4 weeks until Turnabout Memories.
