Whoa...! The mention of siblings for the Nickel Samurai totally slipped my mind... Thanks a lot for that script!!
So, let's see: The Evil Magistrate was defeated, and the Steel Samurai retired to a simple life in the sidelines as a "Married Man of Neo Olde Tokyo"...
(allowing him to make room for the new samurai brothers to be the main stars, but still leaving the possibility open for him to make a comeback and fight together with his family on a special occasion, as in the AAI stage show, when there are no other heroes around to do the job)...It is now up to the three new metallic warriors to protect Neo Olde Tokyo from the threat of a new villain, the leader of the evil Strawberry Clan...?
...What kind of name is the Strawberry Clan, anyway!? And why exactly would the daughter of that clan's leader be working at a tea shop? And can you imagine three samurai brothers in full armor sitting down at a cafe to drink tea, assuming that's how they met her!? xDHahaha, it sounds so ridiculous... yet still entertaining... I must admit, I think I'd be tuning in every Sunday at 8...
And I'd really,
really love to see some of...

Oh god, I remember a contest somewhere way back, to write the Steel Samurai canon.
It was very elaborate. XD
I have to find it somewhere for you guys.
...that. That sounds awesome. I can't wait!! x3
EDIT:...
So. Uh. I've been thoroughly
researching~ on
The Ace Attorney wiki and Court-Records info pages and various game scripts.
I feel like I at least generally understand the chronology of the broadcasts now, although that may or may not help with figuring out the plots.
In any case, I believe this is just about
everything the game gives us:
--EVERYTHING YOU (N)EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT FICTIONAL SAMURAI--
First of all,
before even the Steel Samurai, there were various films/shows that likely inspired it:
-"Dynamite Summer" (plot: ?)
-"Samurai Summer" (plot: a typical summer romance...with a samurai on a horse)
-"The Singing Samurai" (plot: a samurai in ancient Japan sings his way to fame and fortune)
-"Bearded Samurai" (plot: ?)
Global Studios began producing all of these movies at least "10 years ago" = 2006. All starred Jack Hammer in the hero's role... but he stopped getting starring roles after an accident that occurred during the filming of one particular movie (August 2011), which featured a villain played by an actor named Manuel (the victim of the accident).
There was also at least one Global Studios show prior to the Steel Samurai that starred Will Powers (in a wig), called "Samurai Boogey-Woogey."
With those out of the way... "
The Steel Samurai: Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo"
{Tonosaman} was the official original installment of the relevant "Samurai" franchise created by Global Studios (director: Sal Manella; producer: Dee Vasquez).
The only two characters known to have featured in the show are the Steel Samurai himself [played by Will Powers] and the Evil Magistrate [played by Jack Hammer] -- and the Magistrate's "minions," whoever they were.
Setting: "Neo Olde Tokyo," a city overlooked by the mountain "Neo Fujiyama."
The show revolves around an ongoing series of battles between the hero and villain -- motives unexplained. Apparently, the Steel Samurai always wins, but the Evil Magistrate never seems to be truly defeated.
The Samurai's motto, according to Mia and believed by Cody, is "for great justice"!
The Steel Samurai's primary weapon is a "Samurai Spear." He can also apparently use attacks like "Samurai Kick," "Samurai Punch," "Samurai Chop," and "Samurai Slap." He also may use his Japanese-flag-patterned fan as a weapon (? or just a style statement), since he's always shown equipped with it.
It's unclear how long it had been airing beforehand (obviously no longer than 5 years -- and obviously no shorter than 12 episodes, as evidenced by the "Episode 13" script), but the show was cancelled after the events of 1-3 (October 2016).
The
Pink Princess {Himesaman} was not a part of the original Steel Samurai story. Director Manella only came up with the concept after being inspired by Maya's style during the course of Case 1-3. That show picked up production right after the Steel Samurai stopped (late 2016).
The full title of the show is "The Pink Princess: Warrior of Little Olde Tokyo" (setting change~).
Plot is unknown except that she fights evil.
The title role of the Pink Princess was played by Will Powers (don't take off that mask, dude).
The Pink Princess won the "Hero of Heroes" award in March 2017, but the show ended in May 2017.
The
Nickel Samurai {Tonosaman Hei} show began production in 2017 after the Pink Princess was finished.
Plot (as explained earlier on the thread): The Nickel Samurai, along with his brothers the Aluminum Samurai and the Tin Samurai
{Shin / Otsu}, fights crime in Neo Olde Tokyo (back to there again?), against the evil Strawberry Clan. However, all three brothers fall in love with Sayo, the daughter of the leader of the Strawberry Clan, and must vie for her love...
forbidden love. Oooh.
The Nickel Samurai won the Hero of Heroes award in March 2018, but the show was cancelled after the events of 2-4 (March 2018).
The show with which the Nickel Samurai competed in timeslots, "
Jammin' Ninja" (produced by Global Studios' rival Worldwide Studios), was apparently /not/ cancelled after 2-4... (replacement actor found?) ...because it goes on to gain popularity in the country of Allebahst as of 2019. (Of course, the Allebahstians could be watching reruns that have only recently been translated, I suppose.)
The show had actually been in production before the Nickel Samurai's debut, considering that the Jammin' Ninja was a [losing] candidate for the Hero of Heroes title in early 2017. Its original star had been Juan Corrida. Its plot had revolved around a ninja who sucked at being a ninja but "boy could he sing!" His goal was to save Princess Misola from the evil Muromachi Five (using his music...apparently). The cliffhanger of one episode (the most recent / last one?) was that the Jammin' Ninja loses his voice the night before Battle 3 with the Muromachi Five -- oh noes! The Jammin' Ninja's trademark item is a bright red guitar.
...WHY IS IT THAT WE KNOW MORE ABOUT THE JAMMIN' NINJA CANON THAN THE STEEL SAMURAI CANON!?!?Both shows (Nickel Samurai and Jammin' Ninja) were supposed to get full-length movies based on them... But both of their stars became, er, unavailable, for whatever reason.
...NOW, what can they possibly come up with next? What are samurai fans to do!?
...Well...how about indulge in the franchise's shameless, endless marketing schemes? x3 Apparently that's how the fandom really continues to thrive.
They've got:
-trading cards (duh!

)
-Samurai Soda (in the vending machine in 1-3)
-Samurai Dogs
{Tonosamanjuu} (introduced in 1-4 -- there are stands, and they're also sold in packages, as in AAI)
-action figures (like the one in Edgeworth's office)
-cell phone straps (Maya's phone has one)
Also, live performances were going on long before AAI: they were mentioned in Case 1-3 -- they're where Cody took all the pictures for his "Path of Glory" scrapbook.
...
And...
I think...
That's about all there is...
...
...
I...I can't believe I typed all that.
Yeah, I had work I was gonna do. Didn't happen.
Hope I didn't miss anything important, and that this compilation of random facts can lead to some sort of conclusions or at least more educated guesses at stuff.
