I was playing Ace Attorney for the iPhone, and I had just defeated the 4th case. I updated my phone, and lost everything. Now it wants me to start from the first case, and I can't play the 5th case!! I know unlocking cases might be considered cheating, but I actually played the first 4, and the app just glitched! Does anyone know how to unlock cases?! I know we're all gamers here, and I'm not going to re-play the first four cases! I don't have that kind of time!

(I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, I honestly had no idea where to post it!)

I'm not sure if you can. I think the "unlocking all cases" cheat only worked if you put a copy of the first Gyakuten Saiban in the GBA slot for the DS, whilst you had a copy of the DS version.

Same thing happens to me whenever I decide to update my Ipod Touch. The game will erase your savefile and you will have to start the game from the beginning. As far as I am concerned, there's no way to skip any of the cases unless you complete them again. And that is why you should either play the DS or the Wiiware versions, as this version just screws you over :payne:

Man, that sounds horrible. Isn't there any way of backing up the save file?

Maybe you can download and upload a completed safe-file from a friends...? I am sorry this happened to you. I, myself, played the games on WiiWare and never had any troubles of that kind... Man, Apple, really, must you screw us over so badly...?

Are you jailbroken? If so, I can upload my completed save file, and you can place it in the Documents folder of the app.

EDIT: I realize this is a really late response, but hey, I can still help if you want.

EDIT 2: Here's the Documents folder. You can just unzip it and replace the entire folder. :) [Link]
