My main question involves some findings in the bonus case from the first Ace Attorney game.

Here's a recap:
Spoiler: Lana Skye's Office
Damon Gant and Lana Skye shared the same office during the SL-9 incident. Neil Marshall was killed in this office two years before the "current" case from Rise from the Ashes. Although the traces are two years old, luminol spray revealed a large amount of blood on Lana Skye's side of the office.

Phoenix Wright proved in court that the true murder weapon that killed Neil Marshall was the suit of armor on Gant's side of the office. The broken vase submitted as evidence is the evidence that placed the true crime scene on Gant's side rather than Lana's side.

Later a photo of the crime scene was furnished. The victim had lost a considerable amount of blood while he was still impaled on the statue. This was actually pointed out to establish Ema Skye's innocence. Neil Marshall's autopsy revealed that he had punctured organs. The defense also established that this all occurred on Gant's side of the office.

With that said, how is it that all traces of blood were found on Lana's side? It is a suspension of belief on my part to believe that the victim stopped bleeding in order to be moved there. Then Darke should've been covered in blood.

I've noticed a few other inconsistencies with the blood, but this one makes the least amount of sense. What am I missing?

Remember Lana and Gant manipulated the crime scene to make it look like Darke committed the murder. They likely leaked Neil's blood all over Lana's side of the room as proof.

...ugh... that's kinda creepy when you think about it...

As for any blood that might had been on Gant's side of the office, like the armor's spear, it can easily be removed with bleach and lots of scrubbing.

Lana/Gant could have also manipulated the report on the blood and stuff.

Also, don't forget that half of the evidence in the case never made it to Edgeworth. The report on the blood on Gant's side could've been one of those pieces.
