Considering there's a thread on things we haven't noticed in the AA games, and the Search Function not coming up with this thing, I thought why not open a thread that lists things we did notice right away. No matter how obvious or hidden it was, list what you knew or realized way before the game "let you".
And with that I do not refer to knowing that Melissa Foster is a fake.
Since we saw her as someone else beforehand, it was obvious.

2-2: Morgan being somehow involved in the murder.
For one, she's the sister of the Kurain Master, so there was bound to be obligatory Soap Opera Usurper stuff.
Also, she got rid of all witnesses at the scene of the crime so she could "help" "Maya". But that was obvious.

2-2: Ini = Mimi = Ini = WeDon'tCare
Knew the instant it got known that she had plastic surgery - I knew that was not her real face. Although I had hoped they wouldn't pull this thing...

2-3: Acro is the murderer
.... he was the only guy still missing from the troupe, it had to be him.

3-5: Maya channeling Dahlia
.... it was obvious. Come on, a Spirit Channeler "disappears" from a small location you cannot escape from, unless as a corpse. And since no corpse is found, it must be that.

3-5: Elise is Misty Fey
Don't ask me how, I just knew the second I saw her, who she was.

3-5: Iris and Dahlia are twins
.... I had really, really hoped they wouldn't pull this piece of crap out of their ass, but they did.

3-5: Godot is the murderer
He was missing the first day and then magically appeared and "was first on the scene" when the bridge was repaired.

3-5: Pearl's whereabouts
Same with Godot, if we can't find her on "this side" she must be on the other side.

4-2: Alita's Guilt
Nobody playing that good and innocent is innocent.

4-4: Drew's Forging
D'uh! What else do you think the stuff on the right side of his apartment was for?

I-3: The Butler's Fatal Wound
I knew the second I saw the corpse that the shot was fired close-range in a struggle. Why? The angle of the shot - so the entire reconstruction with Little Thief and Blablablabag was pointless, something Edgeworth should've realized, too.

That's what I can think of off the top of my head.
Yeah 3-5 was really just one big "Called It!" festival for me.

Well I .... wouldn't really count the 1st Cases as anything to really be proud of to foresee .... although I can't say I foresaw much in GS1. I didn't start playing the game until I read the recap of the first 3 cases and the beginning of the fourth on VGR.

I somehow think I knew something was going to happen in 3-2 before it did, but I can't remember what it was. The case was not one that really made me pay much attention to it.

I-3 - Have I mentioned that I knew from the beginning that the kidnapping was fake? Well, I did now.

I'm not proud of it either, but if I'm going to list the noticeable things, might as well put the obvious ones too just for clarification. Whoever missed those (and Portsman) are up to some serious psych evaluation.

Oh I just remembered what I noticed instantly ..... and now I forgot it again. Must retrack my thought-process ... Zombie on the lawn, Phoenix loses at checkers to Charley the houseplant, Redead in my cup ... can't remember.

I-5 - Oldbag plays the Pink Princess
Although this was obvious when those NPCs mentioned that the PP-Actress was moving stiffly... (On a different note, am I the ONLY one who was capable of reading Larry's handwriting and reading "Mindy" instantly instead of "Wéndy"?)

4-2 - Atila was hiding something under her scarf
I have my share of hiding things with clothes.... (Speaking of Case 2, I thought Phoenix sneaked into the courtroom and "kidnapped" Trucy)

God this really annoys me that I can't remember what it is I noticed otherwise ...

But this last case was fraught with sudden twists. It kept me guessing, so it was rather satisfying to reach the conclusion. I was earlier spoiled about the mastermind's breakdown, but I enjoyed watching it again.

The foreshadowing in 2-4 was pretty terrible, and I had it all figured out in the first 5 minutes.

Wow, somebody who hates 2-4 just as much as I do!
It's a terrible case, although I can't say it's the worst in the franchise ... at least it has an important message to convey. Maybe it's because it's the first long case I ever played, but it took too long and Phoenix lacked balls and I admit I kinda learned prior to even playing this case that Maya was gonna be kidnapped ... although my main turf with the ending is that Maya is stuffing her face with a feast. After 3 days of starvation. Your stomach shrunk! You can't eat a feast without barfing it up later or causing yourself horrible stomach pain due to having it work overtime after not doing anything for so long! You stupid idiot! No, we're not gonna bother to bring you to a doctor to see if you're okay, being malnurished or anything!

... I digress.

I-3 - Lauren and the Butler being family
Obvious. Just, yeah. Pendant was a huge give-away.

I-5 - Alba's attempt to gain a Steel Samurai Alibi
As soon as he mentioned it, I said: "Oh is this the part where you say you watched the show and liked the final move with the Samurai Spear, but in reality it was never used because the Idiotbag broke it prior to the show and it was a last minute change and since you don't know that we know your alibi is fake? Yeah, let's skip that part since I just explained it."

4-3 - Lamiroir is their Mom
I can't believe I haven't mentioned this one yet!
But yes, I looked at her and, like with Elise, I don't know how, but I just knew.
God how I hated it when they really pulled it off.

The pendant thing was one of the top five "No Shit Miles" moments of AAI.



I think 9 out of every 10 people playing the game would be able to notice. At first I really read "Wéndy", but all it took was a little squinting, and it's there, clear as day, MINDY. He even mentions her name earlier, if I'm not mistaken.

Oh, something that I just remembered!
Dahlia's theme is a rendition of the Kurain Theme.
I didn't immediately think that just because her theme was a rendition of it that she was a part of it. But I noticed the theme during the first few notes. Probably because the Kurain theme is burned into my mind because I replayed that case so many times for recording it.
