Is there anything special to unlock if you don't make mistakes in any Ace Attorney game? I got the feeling there is though. When I said "mistakes", I mean get decreased in the penalty bar.

I have never read about completing the game perfectly unlocking anything.

As far as I know the only time in the series you get anything for not making mistakes is in Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, where you get more picarats (which can be used to unlock bonus stuff after finishing the game) upon finishing a trial if you didn't make mistakes.
Hi! I've largely stepped back from C-R due to life stuff. Please contact one of the other staff members for help!

Thanks, Bolt Storm, I was panicking since I made a mistake doing case 1 of Dual Destinies (finished a few min ago though)

The only thing I can possibly think of is the lottery ticket in 4-4. But my hunch is that it's just random xP

There's no definite or obvious goodies you get for doing things perfectly or special or anything.

The lottery ticket? What of it? :D

Anyway, I think this is one amongst many good things with Ace attorney; you can't be "good" at it. Yes, you can beat the game, but that's it- you won't gain anything from finishing it quickly or with zero mistakes etc.

From what I heard, on some occasions, the lottery ticket that Ema has you scan can actually turn out to be a winner. I never actually heard confirmation if it was random, or tied to specific game cartridges, or what.

I don't think this sounds real. I wanna see a screen shot of a winner or it's just an Urban Legend of Zelda. And if there IS a screen shot, there better be a followup reaction from Ema about how it's real and she quits her job to being the CSI she always dreamed of becoming.

It happens randomly. I had this the first time I played through the case, but not on subsequent playthroughs.
Oddly, Trucy only says something along the lines of "I'm a winner" or something, then Ema just moves on with the investigation. If you ask me, the ticket was probably fake. After all, if she had a winning ticket in her possession right then, she probably wouldn't even be there.

um, people are going off-topic right now and I believe that this thread's main question has been answered already, so maybe this thread should be closed?

According to Ace Attorney Wikia, the winning ticket only appears if you don't use the text fast-forward feature throughout the game (which fits with you only receiving it on your first play-through).

I'm sure that Ema wouldn't quit part-way through a case and it would explain why she isn't present in Dual Destinies.
