...so. I was reading the text on this image, and was mildly amused and curious for a few different reasons.

The fact that the use of ノウハウ amused me aside...it says that that he studied under Karuma Gou, in everything from the "know-how" of the job, to clothing preferences. I think it's just the fact that this is mentioned that I find so hilarious.

Anyway, my main point - and question, in a sense - is in regards to the last line in his paragraph: "そんな彼の唯一の弱点はオバチャン."

...apparently that's his weakness? Aunts younger than his parents Middle-aged women? Or is it specifically Oldbag? (Don't they call her Obachan in the Japanese version?)

I promote discussion. Because I really am too curious.

I believe that the "Obachan" it refers to is Oldbag, not old women in general. The 'weakness' would not be in a romantic sense, but just the fact that Edgeworth always seems to have problems with her. Either that or it might mean he has problems dealing with all old women, probably for the same reason as Oldbag. :karma:

I more than figured that Oldbag had something to do with this. Especially if all older women fangirl over him to the extent that she does.

It's just the way it's phrased as his SOLE WEAKNESS. Especially given that I would think most people would associate what LuigiHann said as his weakness.

Miles Edgeworth had one weakness:

...FANGIRLS *Axel F plays*

(couldn't resist)
I yell "OBJECTION!" in the court sometimes!

STAIRS!

(okay sorry had to do that)

Anyway I think Edgey's weakness is getting personal because he's always quick to change a conversation when people start asking him about himself so we don't really know if he is gay or antisocial.

He says outright that he sucks at making small talk in the first game. Which makes sense, given his mentor's obsession with perfection, anything that really deals with human emotion is full of imperfection. So I doubt Edgey really had a terribly good example set as to how to make friends and express himself except the way he saw Karma doing it: from a position of smug superiority and disdain for the imperfect.

That he was able to apparently come to terms with all this in between the first two games says a lot though about his character.

Possible. I can't imagine Von Karma would want Edgeworth to reproduce.

... o_o Von Karma sex ed. Oh God, the kid would be too scarred to have sex.

Edgeworth's weakness is the frothing desire he invokes (/elicits?) from the female masses.

:taser: Don't have sex, because you will get pregnant and die. Don't have sex in the missionary position, don't have sex standing up, just don't do it.

XD I can just see von Karma's explanation of where babies come from. It would most likely have something to do with court.

:karma: : Every time you don't get a guilty verdict, a child is born. Think of how imperfect the world would be.

Or something to that effect. XD

xDDD Totally.

9 year old :edgy: Mr. von Karma, how are babies born?
:karma: Whenever you get a guilty verdict.
9 year old :edgy: What happens if you get a 'Not Guilty?'
:karma: A gay baby is born.

:gregory: Alright, I won the trial!

:hotti: Hello, Mr. Edgeworth. This is Hotti Clinic. We are calling to inform you that your wife just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy...

XD And so...Miles Edgeworth was born.

...von Karma looks entirely too happy to be corrupting informing Edgeworth of homosexuality's origins... XD
