I guess Maya/Ema/Pearl can be considered "Co." in the loosest of senses.

Conversely, Pheonix might have merely been too lazy to paint over the entirety of the sign outside his office, and figured nobody'd give a damn about the discrepancy anyway.

Well, when it was Fey & Co., it was mostly Mia and Phoenix. Since Phoenix never met Maya before or knew of her, I think it's safe to say that he wasn't there for too long. Still, "Co." in this case would be Mia and Phoenix. When Mia was taken out of the picture, it became Phoenix's office. He probably didn't have the last part removed out of respect for his boss or something.

If you really think about it, though, "Co." would probably reflect the fact that Phoenix is almost never alone in his persuits of law. Someone's always there with him, wether it be Mia, Maya, Pearl,Ema or Gumshoe, and others.

That, and it's pretty much a staple of most names on law offices, at least in the U.S., so it makes it sound more like a real law office.

Wait... when it was still Fey & Co, wasn't it Mia and Grossburg like in GS3? =/ I know Naruhodo considered her a mentor, but did he actually work with Mia? I haven't played GS3 though aside from the first case, so unless there's more information about it there I didn't think Naruhodo worked for Mia.

Mia used to work for Grossberg at Grossberg & Co. Law Offices along with Kominogi Javado

. When she left, she started Fey & Co, Law Offices.

Also, I think the "Co." in "Wright & Co. Law Offices" refers to Mia, considering all the contact between them.

Mia was apprenticing under Grossberg then, at his law office, which is a different location from her own office (the one that eventually becomes Phoenix's). As such, "Fey & Co." definately wouldn't include him, since they have seperate offices.

I think the Co. really only refers to Maya. She's been his assistant since 1-2 (even with the occasional absence for obvious reasons). But unless there are some assistants that they're hiding or other people, I don't know who else.
