To topic: I was actually surprised to see that Phoenix is only my age. I mean... 24 and already a top defense attorney? Come on. They should have made him around 30.

Von Karma probably personally trained her from a very young age.
Also, he's got to have a lot of connections with his status. I'm sure he could arrange something.
Franzy's intelligence and heavy training helped.
But I think the largest factor is that being a lawyer in the PW world doesn't seem to have much to do with the law. I mean, Phoenix is supposedly an ace attorney, yet in case 5 he doesn't know those short, basic evidence law rules and when you examine Mia's bookshelf, etc. he doesn't show a lot of academic learning.

just one question, why would any person buy thier 7 yr old son (cody) a samurai sword? even if he can't unsheath it, they still wouldn't allow it in court when he comes to testify.
