Spoiler: Apollo Justice
I've been thinking about Kristoph lately. In all honesty, I don't think he's evil. A single act of selfishness led to a life of paranoia and crime. He forged evidence to get famous for getting Zak Gramarye acquitted, then he tried to kill the forgers lest they expose him, then he killed Zak Gramarye for fear that his role in the forgery would be exposed by him. With the exception of the forgery itself, all of his crimes were committed out of fear.

Spoiler: Phoenix Wright
Obviously, I'm disappointed that Lana got imprisoned. She only forged evidence to protect Ema. Admittedly, though, plenty more innocent people probably got hurt because of it.

And Yogi, too, earned some sympathy from me. Simply because he was in the elevator with Gregory, he lost nearly everything he valued. He still committed murder, but it was only successful because he was following von Karma's instructions.

Spoiler: Justice for All
There's Acro, too. I get the feeling that even if he had managed to kill Regina instead of Russell, he would have ultimately regretted it. After all, what would Bat think if he found out that the girl he had feelings for--possibly loved--was killed by his brother?

Spoiler: Trials and Tribulations
I do feel somewhat sorry for Dahlia. Like Kristoph, she only killed to keep her first crime a secret. The attempt at Maya's life would never have happened had Mia not indicted her, so I don't count that.

I'll always love you, Max.

Meh, nobody really. As was mentioned before, there were a handful of cool people I wish had been innocent, but what goes around comes around.

Spoiler: lol
Well...

Matt He was just a really awesome character to me, one that they shouldn't have disposed of so easily. People don't become megalomaniacal sociopaths for no reason. :/ At least with Dahlia, we had a few shreds of backstory.

Daryan I found him to be a really likable person, even if he was a jerk at times. Then again, he's the prime example of what lengths people are willing to go to for money...

Richard Come on. He was awesome.

Dee I actually felt sorry for her. It wasn't fair; she had no intent of actually killing Jack. She may have blackmailed him, but hell, I would've done a lot worse to the perpetrator than blackmail them.

Also, even though he never stood trial, Valant. He seems like the awesome uncle everybody wants to have.

Damon Gant. He is the exact definition of awesome, and if you think otherwise...

I won't do anything at all!

Spoiler: EVERYTHING
It makes me sad that Godot isn't appearing in this thread more than he is. (But I'm a fangirl.)
Well... come to think of it I suppose I do feel that he needed to face his crimes... but dang was I whiney when I figured out he'd done it. :larry: REALLY whiney.
The only person I felt sad for convicting, then... was Dee, because she was just killing in self-defense. Acro I did not feel sorry for. >:| My thoughts on Ini waver.
Edit: Forgot about Yogi. Uh... yeah, not sympathetic. If you're so angry about being called insane, don't act senile for fifteen years. :yogi:

And I know old topic is old and I suppose no one cares anymore, but I don't think the picture at the end of 3-5 necessarily proves Godot is dead. I think it can be interpreted as the top representing Mia as a lawyer--since Misty was the reason she became a lawyer and Diego supported her--and the bottom representing Phoenix as a lawyer. But again... fangirl.

Acro. Even though he wanted to kill Regina, I just felt the most sympathy for him because he ended up killing a man who was like a father to him.

I agree with this.

Spoiler:
From PW:AA...Yanni I definitely felt bad for, because really, it's all Von Karma's fault.
From JFA, DEFINITELY Acro. That was the only part of that case that actually made me feel anything. I felt guilty for winning that case. >_< "Just take Galactica! I don't want him!"
Ini, also, but that might just be because I love her...
And Matt. Because I love him, and because he's going to die. >_<
From T&T, Godot, Godot, Godot. I didn't want to find him guilty. He had a reason for what he did, and he's God. So yeah.
And everyone in AJ:AA sucks. SO. :keiko:
